I bought a bunch of peonies for my office once, and they made it smell like a funeral parlor. I had to put them out in the hall.

I haven't been to a funeral in ages. I don't remember what they smell like.

This was at a point when I was going to a lot of them, so I definitely didn't want the smell in my office!

Kinda hard not to notice, it seems every douchecanoe and behindular being is posting something silly for what we know to be the 935,478 time.

And right now, my favorite tater chips are cheddar cheese and onion.

Edited for forgetting "not".

I used to have fruit flies show up all the time, the occasional one dropped dead in my orange juice, figured it was protein!

If she takes off & begins to fly, that's the time to start worrying.

And fruitflies are disgusting & can be eliminated with proper cleaning & containment.

No really!! You really really don't want to know this. But if you do insist, I'll give you a hint: It's in General BDSM & has to do with tacks. ACK! ACK! ACK! ACK!

Over on that other site, I've friended a number of photographic artists. And this has brought the problem of internet art theft to the forefront for me. I've been corresponding with one of the artists about this issue & have come to the conclusion that any art that I post on my profiles really must be something I have made myself or for which I have the express permission of the artist. This means even those LOLcats. And internet cartoons.

Just because it's out there on the internet doesn't mean that it's fair game. I am removing all images from both of my profiles, here & there, which are not mine to post. Think about it: these artists make money from their works; so my posting their work, even if I credit it to them, is sort of like my busting my ass all day at work & coming up with ways to make the company make more money, etc., only to have MaryJane tell the boss it was all her idea.

So I urge all of you to remove such images as are not yours or that you do not have express permission from the artists to post.
