Merely that I would probably fit into the category and why. Nine times out of ten, I'll tell someone why I am blocking them before I do so. I still hold this faint glimmer of hope that maybe, if enough women say some version of "read the profile," there might just be a few cases where it will sink in. The cases where I do, it is never folks from the forums.

i don't recall getting any really rude replies when i was looking for a domme, and since i stopped looking i don't do much in the way of first contact outside of something forum related. i have, however been known to send out a slightly less than polite reply on rare occasions. The lack of response makes me feel like she didn't even find me worthy of saying "Thanks, but no thanks" to. That kind of hurts. Particularly when my message was very respectful and well-written. I don't expect everyone that I contact to be interested in me. But if I've clearly gone through some effort to be thorough and respectful in my communication, the least they could do is acknowledge receiving the message.
