Several posts on here about safely meeting and the like: what always amazes me is people who put accounts up in their own names, or with obvious links to their own names. This seldom seems to be experienced people who have made a positive decision to do so, but often people who just do it without thinking.
One new guy signed up the other day, with what looked like his real name. Just to prove the point to myself, with no expertise, just google I was able to find his date of birth, company email, university, etc within a couple of minutes. I'm sure he is by no means alone in being that easy to track down.
It scares me the danger people put themselves in without even thinking. Maybe there should be some common sense safety guidelines on signup?
