I picked up a couple of books, and read them; did a lot of introspection, figuring what I wanted, within a relationship, than found some friends who were involved in live events in my area. Reading collarme boards, and participating, is massively helpful; because from here you can meet people to attend RL events with you.

I have been petrified to really act on things I've thought of outside that select friend. I tend to think too highly of what others say, I guess. But, since he's tapped into my... other side, my fantasies are getting darker. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not, but I guess I can't really put them back :)

So, what if I've done years of research. I've been interested in BDSM for... 8 years now? Just too scared to act. I'm kind of at a loss of what's next, but I think I finally want to take the next step.

I cannot get the fear out of you... You will have to figure out there is nothing to lose, by being yourself. Don't make up who you are, or think you ought to be like.

The fact is, that once the Ginie is out of the bottle, you simply have to learn how to best live with the situation. Can you simply go back to vanilla dating, and be satisfied? What is it you need, to be happy/satisfied? Are there any groups/munches in your area, that you can join?

I have tried to go back, but I keep... going back to my friend out of boredom haha so I guess that's a no. I've never been to a group, but after it was suggested by DarkSteven, I looked it up. There's one I guess I can check out although I'm nervous to do so alone.
