~FR~ Everybody's already pretty much argued this thing to death but I'm just going to throw my 2 cents in with those who support the theater. They have a business. They make their own rules. They want customers spending their hard-earned money to have a pleasant, enjoyable viewing experience where they can see and hear everything. If you are handing over your money with plans to come in, ignore parts of the movie while you talk, text or use your phone for a flashlight, you are obviously in the wrong place according to THEIR rules that they have every right to establish. I have to tolerate people talking on phones while driving, texting and blabbing while I'm at a LIBRARY desk trying to assist them, and various other bullshit all day long, every day. When I go into a theater, I don't want to deal with that. Many, many other people don't either and, if you don't mind it, bully for you. I guarantee someone else in the theater DOES and that matters. It would be the tacky thing to do to force other paying customers to endure one who obviously doesn't care much about others or the movie. Good for this theater. Now if they'd ALL do it, I could get some relief...............luci
