I think it is so important that in any relationship where the Master and slave are married and live 24/7 (as my slave and I do) there needs to be a good balance of vanilla thrown in. Otherwise one or both of you can get lost in trying to live up to a standard without any kind of break.

ExistentialSteel, I did have a different profile. I read your post and realized that you were correct. I decided to change the profile to be more accurate and to represent my interest in a clearer fashion. Thanks for pointing that out!

To all who reponded to my posts: I appreciate the help and advice given to me. I am taking it all to heart and re-examining my motives and goals. In particular, thank for the advice about a kink-aware therapist. We are looking into that now, and it may help. I am willing to give it effort, and I have nearly convinced my wife to consider it. As I stated before, I realize my blame, and my wife realizes hers. As we travel the road to recovery, the advice this fine group of people has shared with me will be considered. Thank you all!
