you so funny Wilbur

One of us is from Louisiana and I am sure knows a lot more than the other one.

Do you think you can figure out which is which?

psssttt there were also hookers in New Orleans

So it's your thought that its ok for a US Senator to break the law?

I already state my position very clearly, and you dont have a fucking clue whether or not he was involved with any hookers in NO.

Weiner made no such claims. You've been manipulated, but I guess if you want to be fooled then you're not really fooled.

Weiner DID claim that his account was hacked. That certainly raises security concerns, and would have mandated an FBI investigation. BamaD may be a bit hyperbolic, but his point is far from meaningless.

Same question to you as JO, does a confession to a victimless crime past the statute of limitations make him unfit for office?

Simple yes or no answer.

Lying about them clearly would (imnsho).

Here is the thing, you will always twist it because it suits you in your partisan world....

You are basically a hypocrite.

If we state that something someone admits too past the statute of limitations that is a crime makes some ineligible for office... the past few Presidents wouldnt have been President, most of those who have run for national office would not have been eligible.

That is political hype and you're buying into it because he's a Democrat.

Dear Mods.. is there any way, on gods green earth, that it wuold possible to put a FORUM on block.. say this one, for instance?  Or even just threads?

as much as it shames to me to admit it, I just do NOT have the will power to avoid trainwrecks, and having that 'ignore' button sure would help me (and by extension, YOU!).

*hugs and kisses to the Mods*

Greedy .... Hun... honestly, do you want these types of threads in the other forums? These posters posting elsewhere? Wouldnt it be better to just leave well enough alone?

(CNN) -- A weekend controversy involving a lewd photo posted on the Twitter account of Rep. Anthony Weiner is a "prank" caused by a hacker, Weiner told CNN on Monday.
Weiner, a New York Democrat who is one of the leading liberal voices in the House, blamed the photo on a hacker who got control of his social networking accounts.
"Look, this is a prank and not a terribly creative one," Weiner told CNN in an exclusive interview Monday, adding: "I was hacked. It happens to people. You move on."

Neither would Bush 2, Palin never would have been allowed to run. Pataki, Koch, Bradley, Gore, Dean... a whole slew of government elected officials wouldnt have made it.

Im just talking about them all admitting to their past drug use. Is it a huge deal? Not to me. But it could be to others.

My point was if we start using the standard of past crimes people have admitted too.... Do we now hold a 50 year old man responsible for the blow he may have snorted when he was 19?

slvemike4u -> RE: David Vitter got caught frequenting prostitutes in DC and New Orleans? (6/9/2011 5:35:12 PM)

He'll,I don't want to be held responsible for the blow I snorted last night......I mean what the fuck, once I snort it ,it's history!

So you are saying that it is ok to break the law if it is a "victimless crime"?

Because he didnt lie to the media, constituents and contributors about it.

Gee, that was hard.

So if a republicrat commits a crime and does not lie about it it becomes ok to break the law?
Is that true for the demopubs too or just your gang?

slvemike4u -> RE: David Vitter got caught frequenting prostitutes in DC and New Orleans? (6/9/2011 5:50:31 PM)

Me and willbe agree...at least that's what I was thinking when I was leaning over that mirror last night.
