Video - Obama yucking it up with his buddy Jeffrey Immelt (CEO of General Electric) at the "Jobs Council"

At this point, Obama smiled and interjected, "Shovel-ready was not as ... uh .. shovel-ready as we expected." The Council, led by GE's Jeffrey Immelt, erupted in laughter.

The Obama administration promised the Recovery Act ("the stimulus") would prevent the jobless rate from going over 8%. It now stands at 9.1%.

A sub text to this is that this video segment should be a real eye opener for those who try to argue that government bears no responsibility for a lack of jobs in the United States. Something else thats of interest to me is that this bit of comedy isnt being widely reported for whtever reason.

Could it be that CBS and CNN and MSNBC and ABC etc etc etc deliberately withold any news they deem to be unflattering to their chosen candidate in the 2012 elections?

Or maybe they just didnt get the joke.

Again... I doubt BIG-O is gonna be using soundbites of Congress, but rather, those of his opponent -- just as his soundbites will be used by his Presidential opponent, whomever that may be.
