Miss has requested that i find a way for her to be able to see as well as monitor me whenever i'm on line.

I realize that watching ALL net activity is a difficult task.    I want her to be able to log into my Yahoo IM video at any time and see me if my computer is on.    (I can allow that manually now.)

I want this to be a start up setting that just happens when I turn the computer on.


The BEST would be if I don't know when she's watching or not, but I think that is more difficult.    If I could set up the above 2 it would be great, this 3rd would be terrific.

Have you looked into Teamviewer?  I haven't used it so I don't know all of its capabilities, but I seem to recall it's used for this function.

please be advised with team viewer, if you have the access code and password you can log into the computer as if it was you sitting at the keyboard. If this information is given to the wrong individual, they will have full access to your pc.

Consider that before using team viewer.

Thank you both for your insanely quick responses.    I will discuss the suggestion with Miss and the concern as both are quite valid.


This said, I know Miss well enough to trust her and would not fear giving it to her.

i'm not familiar with the ins and outs of teamviewer, but yahoo will only allow you to log in at a single location. fucking stupid, but there it is.

I do seem to remember that YIM allows you to set preferences, like a certain name can access your camera whenever they like, so you could do that with her name, you would still see if she is watching you as it shows you the viewers...

LadyConstanze, thanks for the tip and I found that setting.   Is there a way to automatically turn on the video broadcasting?   If I can figure that out, I would have the auto start up aspect figured out.

To do it mostly unobserved, I'd go with VLC. It is free. It is easy. It is cross-platform compatible. It requires no "viewer" on the other end. As a default, VLC allows the other person to access your computer totally, not simply "see". So it is a SERIOUS security risk (as is any other such program) unless you trust the other person with everything... your bank passwords... everything.

If you want to do it truly in secret you're looking at some sort of root kit and I'd avoid that.

I hardly ever use Yahoo as a messenger, I tend to use Adium so I'm not really up to date with it, but I think you can link it so that the camera automatically starts when you start Yahoo - and even if not, it's just a mouse click.

Thanks again all for the replies, I stumbled across the PERFECT software for it.

I'm now running Yawcam and it will do exactly what Miss was wanting without compromising computer security.   Here's the features....

- VideoCam broadcasting only
- Can be set to launch on startup and run hidden
- Can be set to NOT notify when someone logs into the broadcast
- Broadcast can be password protected and the number of users limited
- Doesn't require special software to watch.
- It's free

Now Miss can easily log in to see and monitor me whenever she desires without my being notified that she is there.

There is also a free software out there called Yahelite which does the same, and additionally she doesn't need to download it to watch your cam, she can use your regular Yahoo.

If I start having problems with Yawcam, I will definitely look into it.     Fortunately, this one seems to be working perfect and all Miss has to do is click on one of her favorites to see me.  (I also take a bit of pride knowing that I'm officially on her favorites list.)

anyway try to get an application called ( Radmin Veiwer V3.0.0)
its more than Teamviewer, it allow the (Admin) to jsut watch if they want to watch what you are doing on your PC.
he can watch, controle, & shutdown, reboot your system,

I use it all the Time to see who is watching porn in working hours [:D] & miss with them often [:D] turn off the secretery PC off & then tell her to print a file for me ASAP,

Ashjor, you do realize that preventing someone from working efficiently, causing them bad reviews, will be identified as harassment. Leaving you liable for firing and for a lawsuit to recover damages.

I strongly suggest you don't do this to people at your workplace.

I live by my computer and it going down would be big issues.     Miss is a computer user but not techno nerd and I don't think either of us would be comfortable with her having total computer control as the damage to my vanilla life is stiff when my computer (along with it's back ups) crash.   My must have systems are redundant, but not perfect.

Your idea is very cool for a very tech savy Domme.   Miss asked for a simple way to check in without me knowing she was doing it and it absolutely works.    We were chatting about 2 hours ago and I asked her to give the web cam a try......she was already watching me and I didn't know it.

Miss may want to graduate to more complex observations at a later date and I will certainly ask others for help if she does.   For now, we have a system that is very simple and hits the mark quite well.

its not how it works here,
also not crash the PC just power it off, it can be more easy to power all the PC`s of after work from my PC,
& not to run to all of them shutting them all down,
however, I wont do it if its not for just FUN,
besides, I am a good boss & they love me,
we often go to beer, on my treet every damn time, they say,,,,,
bill the boss barman
