I am talkig to a slave who's Mistress died and left her a sum of money and other valuables. The late Mistress's lawyer wants Me to take the inherentance directly without going through the slave. What should I do? Do I take it directly after she becomes My slave or have the slave transfer it after? I hope there is someone out there that's had this situation.

I'm wondering if you are taking the expression "talking to" a bit too literally, Red. Perhaps the OP can clear it up? Talking to as in emailing/chatting on the internet? Talking to as in over the phone? Talking to each other in person?

This is the fourth message I've composed to this particular OP. The first three I deleted because I couldn't find a way to answer the question directly without using unseemly and unladylike words and phrases. So, OP, here is the censored version. Are you serious? Did you read your post? Did it make ANY sense at all? Can you figure out ANY way a lawyer can give away someone's inheritance to another person in the way you describe without risking their licence to practice? SERIOUSLY? Awwww...man...[8\|]

If you were to execute an enduring power of attorny, giving you POA over your slave, then the lawyer would be bound to follow your instructions wrt the disposal of the inheritance. I'd be happy to draw up the paperwork for free, but there will be a few court charges for filing and registration. If you go ahead and pop $350 into my paypal account I can get started straight away.

Have you ever heard of the 'Nigerian Scam'? ....what you are describing is classic. ...also a twist on the Spanish Prisoner. In short, run. But, if you really weren't will to, tell her to bring it in a suitcase when you pick her up at the airport....and don't buy the plane ticket for the trip either. ...I would gladly print this out, eat my words, and be happy for you if she does it.

A lawyer wants to send their client's assets directly to the OP solely for the joy of being professionally disgraced? It sounds like National Inquirer level legal idiocy. Ask a Lawyer in your jurisdiction who gives free consultations what they think.

Thanks for your replys. I have been testing the lawyer out and her also. I told the lawyer that she is entitled to it and she would have to give it to Me. So far I haven't heard back from him. Thanks especially to crazyml.
