Yorksfemsub -> Replica Popes' pear (5/15/2006 11:36:05 AM)

Hi A\all
I'm interested in finding someone/somewhere to either manufacture, or tell me where I can buy, a Popes' pear. Thanks for any and all help

Doesn't look that hard to make one, Maybe a small gear puller, reverse the head, and build a hollow wood shell to accept it.

Thank you. Not sure whether wood would be ideal, as it has to be inserted. Think I'd probably prefer stainless steel or some such?

If you are talking about this  device. Yes it can be made from  Metal, Wood, or plastic, Acrylic. If I was going to attempt it. I'd make it from either wood or plastic. ( such as a UHMW )

If you google, there are a number of sites with illustrations and links to a couple of use articles. A hardwood like Oak would be fine and if polished smooth would be no issue on insertation.

Could probably build you a FG unit with air expansion on the pistons for the leaves opening.

Have an inflatable plug that starts about 2" and expands to about 5" across.

Thank you Captnlen Excuse my ignorance but what is an FG unit? The inflatable sounds fine. May I ask where you are located?

As someone who makes a wide variety of art objects out of wood, including the most perverted, I have to make a couple of comments.

As some have said, once polished, wood doesn't give off splinters and makes fine insertibles.  However, the finish needs to be very waterproof not just for cleanliness but because if inserted into a woman who doesn't provide enough natural lubricant, or even worse the anal cavity which has no natural lube, it will absorb the moisture and be very hard to pull out.  Trust me, it ain't fun.

So, use a wood like maple or cherry but not oak, it is too porous for insertibles.

However, looking at how complicated a pear is, I think it has too many moving parts and nooks and crannies to be made of wood.  Someone suggest UHMW plastic and that is a good idea.

Try finding profile and contact thru members

Am in SW FL FG is FiberGglass Oak if sealed with polyurethane and polished might work

Can maybe get you the source for the inflatables.

Many thanks to all who replied and gave advice. I have managed to find someone in the UK who makes replica torture equipment, so things are looking good :) Again, many thanks
