Greetings to all from a new member among your ranks! This thread may be brutal only in its' redundancy to most of you, so please don't unravel on me.
I am a masculine male who enjoys roleplaying as quite the cute little cd cumslut sub. The woman to whom I am faithfully committed enjoys my En Femme personna: she has experienced the touch of another woman in the past, and cherishes her lesbian fantasies. One trigger might be how you dress. If you've just come home from work in dockers and a button down, you're not going to feel very feminine. If you, however, go and put on that hot leather outfit that makes you feel like a woman...well, chances are, that switch will flip at least FASTER.

I personally love submissives that are willing to explore them fem side. These are some things that I have done to subtle intorduce that to them both in private settings and subtly(secretly) in public.

wear womens lingirie underneath your clothing. A pair of nice lace panties that only she and you know about. Allow her to pick them out and pick when you where them.
When at home and in play as your fem persona ask her to make you up or even show you how to make yourself up
Shave your legs, arms, genital area, and as well as underarms
When at home wear a pair of high heels or boots. Heels may be sexy but they can reek habic on your back. knees, and ankles
Go wig shopping and find a wig that looks good on you that you can wear at home or when deemed approriate

Nika, thank you for your post... I always love a good input! My hair is nearly to my waist, and otherwise absent (although unshaven beneath my hose). The stripper heels were a delightful sight to my lover, and an exquisite humiliation to try on and purchase. Learning to cavort in them is another story. Here are some of my favorite scenes.

lingirie cat walks - try on various lingirie some barefoot some with shoes and other accessories and walk the cat walk(try to walk like a fem.model)
dressing you up in a maids uniform and cleaning the house
her picking out something completely sissy with frills and lace ect and forcing you to dress up(if your both comfortable you can carry this over into an outting such as lunch, drinks, or shopping)
going to a spa or salon and both of you getting petties and manicures. Having her choose out polish colors for your toe nails - or her simply painting your nails at home if your not comfy with the public display
going shopping for perfumes and make up and testing them at the store (i.e lipstick)
since your hair is long taking a trip to the salon and have your hair professially done if your not comfy with public display this can be done by her in private

Phoenix/nika, I would personally advise against public displays of crossdressing, just to avoid the possibility of harassment and possible physicality against the man crossdressing by other males. I live in a fairly liberal city, and I see it happening off and on in the darker alleyways and what not. Just something to consider.

To say a Crossdresser should not go out in public as such to me says that they should be ashamed of who / what they are. There is nothing wrong with being a CD, sissyboy, or fem. male. If it makes them happy, doesn't break any laws, and isn't hurting anyone else why make it an issue?

The reality is CD, fem. males, and sissy boys have a right to dress as they like just like you or I, or the guy down the street. Now I will admite that society imposes idels of how men should dress and the roles men should hold. So there maybe social consequences to CD in public. That is why I urge people who are just getting started in CD to talk with their parter about they why or why nots.

Now let me say this, someone who attacks someone for CD is running the risk of going to jail. Period. It's not legal. Those who Crossdress should not have to hide in the shadows or be afraid or shamed of who / what they are.

I know many who crossdress in public though they may get the occassional snide remark from time to time they have not had any "major" issues arise.However, they have prepared themselves mentally, and emotionally for any negative encouters they have.

In the end you must do what is right for you and what makes you happy.

I am teachng a Master now how to switch to submissive because he wants to know how it feels to be a sub. I think it is wonderful. The only way to flip the switch is to switch the switch. Get a flogger and try it out.

While I agree with you completely and totally about people being allowed to simply be themselves, some things do have complications that can impose health problems. Broken jaws, fractured cheeks, cracked ribs. While I personally think it's beyond juvenile to attack someone just because they make you uncomfortable, the world is populated by a number of juveniles.

Personally, were I a crossdresser, I'd avoid doing so in public simply to avoid getting into a fight because some inbred, backwood redneck jackoff decided he's got a beef with me. Self preservation should rank a bit higher than being yourself, but I'm brutally practical and I'd rather not be blatant than be blatant and be in a hospital bed. But to each their own.
