Either in the video chat here or on a messenger service, is it common for the Dom to record the play without the subs consent?

I would find that to be a betrayal of trust if the Dom did not seek my permission first, but has anyone heard of this happening routinely? Also, for what purposes is this even used for; just wanking material, or is it posted on some website?

As open as I've become about my lifestyle, I'd still much prefer for my play not to be recorded by a stranger.

Yup, where's the point of being on a cam for a stranger? Even the cam girls wouldn't do it if they wouldn't get paid.

As for it being posted on a webpage, with all the legal restrictions and forms, unlikely but still, nope...

Sorry? As for commercial use on a webpage, I doubt it very much, as for some idiot posting it somewhere out of revenge or just because they can, I'm sure it happens.

I was a bit confused, thought I missed something, as we recently went through filling out a ton of forms because there was a demo video on a webpage with real people (100% vanilla, as I said a demo on how something can be installed), bureaucracy at its finest, I would assume for the adult industry it's even worse.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if someone recorded your cam transmissions without your consent. I know people it's happened to. I'm too paranoid now to cam with someone I don't have a realtime established relationship with. And if it's realtime, there's no need whatsoever for naughty camming ANYWAY.

Unless it's "realtime" but you happen to not live together. Master and I were "realtime" but separated by several states for the first 14 months of our relationship (except the visits every couple of months that I could schedule). We made much use of our webcams[;)]

It is the rule. The tapes will be passed around and shown to everyone that has an interest in viewing them. Maybe even sent anonymously to your parents, siblings and work place.
