Female supremacy is a way of expressing how D/s is seen by both the female and the male involved, so its personal and as has been said..as long as its not shoved down anyone's throat that dosnt want to follow that way, so be it.
Labels, the best way to describe ourselves and also leave ourselves open to ignorance and judging.

I find many subs are really into seeing the Domina as a supreme being, for many reasons, and it is on a very deep level. Not for everyone, but discrimination is old hat..if someone wants to call themselves a poobah of the yellow daisy doctrine, ok.
How we relate to others is whats important, and that both or all are comfortable with it, not what it is called and perceived as by others.
Conforming to others pressures when they are seeing it very wrong ?? erm no.
Call yourself what you want to ! its a description of your way of being, nobody's truth but your own.

What I have issue with is when somebody tries to tell somebody else in the lifestyle that they're doing it wrong and they should change their sexual and kink orientation because only (insert gender, race or religion here) can possibly be dominant.   Eg, "You can't possibly be happy as a gay leatherman or a male dominant or a female submissive, that's just wrong, you have to submit to women and lead a femdom lifestyle because it is the Natural Order and the Right Way To Live."
Those statements aren't made by female supremacists, they're made by people/jerks with dellusions of grandiosity and who lack the common sense to keep their mouths shut at those times they need to most.

Somewhere else is a thread about doms who approach fem dommes, and just know we only need the right super master to permit ourselves submissive/slavery mindset.    M

"Scientific fact" is often beriddled with alternatives and miscounts. After all, science claims that reproduction is the only reason animals copulate. The numerous counts of gay animal copulations is proof enough against this. On the same coin, a supremacist, male or female will always find the female or male Dominant that they can't argue with and won't argue with because they can't stand to face the facts. Their law isn't law.

What you talkin' 'bout Willis?

And beriddled isn't a word.

I don't adhere to female supremacy, but I don't have a problem with it.
I just see it as one more belief system in the lifestyle. It's not my particular belief system, but then neither is male supremacy, or Gorean, or tantra, or monogamy.

I think people, deep down inside believe that their way is the appropriate way for them, or else they wouldn't have chosen that particular path. Some may believe it more stringently. Others may hold to their beliefs more loosely to allow room for variety. But we all stay within our own bubble of what we believe is "right".

There are people who believe female/male supremacy is "right", and that's ok by me.
When they back up their belief with scientific or religious evidence, I don't take that as they're trying to convert me to their belief system. I take it as they are explaining the foundation of their own belief system. Often, I can be found even asking about such foundations and beliefs. Not in a derrogatory manner at all. But simply saying "That's a perspective I don't understand. Will you explain it to me?" and then being content with their answer and not engaging in argument with them.
I'm perfectly ok with there being belief systems out there that I don't agree with.

But then, I also don't view BDSM as a community.

I don't believe most female supremacists within BDSM community believe that women are superior, and everyone else is phucked in the head, lol.

I believe in fem supremacy or female lead relationships, but not in the same way that everyone sees the bad word "supremacy."    I'm certainly not better than anyone because I was born with a vagina, nor do I think everyone else is doing it wrong.   I consider my way a kink, where I admit to wanting to be understood as the dominant, the one in control, especially if he (my consentual subject) has a deeper love and respect for women than the general population, and enjoys deferring to one.
I have the common decency to look for someone who agrees with that, and I call my partner a sub/slave given the imbalance our relationship would have.

For myself, I am proud to be a member of the leather/BDSM community.  This is my tribe, this is my extended family.  My brothers and sisters in leather include men and women of all genders, sexual orientations and D/s orientations
I am as well proud to be a member of such a diverse community I can feel I belong with my twisted relationship/sexuality approach.
To be honest, in a lifestyle that has little issue with calling subjects lords, slaves, properties, pets, masters, toilets, bitches, etc,  I hardly understand folks who take issue with female supremacy as a kink choice.

I know I have used this analogy before but I view us all as different tribes with our own customs and traditions. Some agendas we may have in common such as right of choice and peace, however we are all uniquely different. One tribe may have rituals that we don’t agree with but we don’t have to. That’s *their thing* and as long as it’s consensual then we must learn to respect their choices because in essence it really doesn’t affect us.

I am a woman who enjoys experiencing all facets of life. I am not afraid to learn the language of another tribe or celebrate their traditions or try their rituals. As a human being this enriches my life experience. My strength is earn through my compassion to allow all of God, Goddess, all that is, creatures to fulfill whatever destiny they were meant to fulfill.

I agree with this whole heartedly.  I often say that I am somewhat of a female supremacist.  By somewhat, I mean that female supremacy is what's right for ME.

I don't believe in universal rules for BDSM relationships.  Some of my closest friends are female submissives and male dominants.  And many are switches.

As I've said before (and I'll no doubt say again because I like the analogy)  BDSM people and relationships are like snowflakes: each is beautifully and utterly unique.  What's right for each of us is in no way wrong simply because it may not be right for somebody else.

You mean Guy Baldwin ISN'T a Fem Dom??? Who knew?! LOL

I don't feel that supremacy of any sort, outside of role play fantasy, has any place in any facet of society, including ours.

I'm not a believer in supremacy of either  of the sexes.  Both sexes  have strengths that they contribute to a relationship.  Nor do i believe that submission is an act  of  serving some One whom i consider superior.
That just doesn't enter into it for me...

It's a lot like religion.  I wanna worship my gods my way in my house, and it's fine if you worship your gods your way in your house.  But if you come knocking on my door telling me that my gods are false and evil and everybody has to worship your gods in just such and such a way, I'm going to think you are a really annoying asshole and kick you out of my house for your lack of respect.

oh, but isnt that America?  these self righteous silly ego centric assholes who think that their rights supercede everyone elses....be it their opinions on free speech, religion, gender supremacy....
i try to just ignore them & not get angry, because they are obviously oblivious

I'm with you 100%.  And I don't like hearing it from the Female Supremacists any more than I like hearing it in reverse from the Gorean Dominant males.

Meh.  That's just silly, and that's the part that I object to.

Ditto. As far as I'm concerned no one is supreme we are all humans and thereby flawed. But in my relationships I'm the Leader though my partner has an equal say, when it comes down to it I make the decisions. Its just as natural to me as breathing and I've always been this way.
So when I hear crap about *the natural order of male supremacy* or *how society has perverted the women of today* or how *feminists have ruined this country*  I just have to shake my head. People allow themselves to be so deluded easily. If people would only look to nature they would see so much truth there and leave the fictional textbooks written by some spaced out writer alone.

Supremacy and superiority are not synonyms.  But, perhaps the difference is the beginning of a whole 'nother thread.

Thanks for that bit, because I think we are using them interchangeably, and perhaps even knowing the difference, some folks would still be uncomfortable with the use of the word, but what in the end is important to remember is that this is a kink like everything else.   M
