If you had the money for it, what would you buy, you actually do not need? A thing you've dreamed of for years, but didnt actually buy? For me... the dress (or a simular one) Anjelica Huston weared as Morticia Addams [:D] Or The one of the dresses Romy Schneider weared in Sissi.........Or a dress from the time of Louis XIV..... Oh.... but it is indeed one of the last things I'd buy..

Call me a weirdo, but I always dream if I won the lotto I'd pay off ALL of my student loans. It's not a material object, but definitely a fantasy of mine to be rid of them!

^^ that would be quite snazzy, impishlilhellcat ^_^ i'd probably go to tons of dance workshops in all sorts of styles. spend a whole year traveling around taking classes and such. that would be fun. ^_^

I would pay off my debt and buy a house in a better area (possibly bigger too, the two bedrooms in this one are already getting full and we want to have more wee ones). Maybe finish school, get out of retail. None of what I would do would make people gasp in wonder, but it would save me from many tears at the end of every month when all the bills are due. And I would never have to decide between electric and gas bills again!

I do the whole pay off debt thing too, if I suddenly came into money... but.. if I already HAD something resembling 'disposable' income (as I took Charne's op to mean)..... I'd get the truck... (I almost said Harley... but I used to have one)

If it had to be material (besides the house) I would get a Ducati Monster 796. It would be mine, but I would share it with my husband. Maybe.

If mine were material I'd go live abroad somewhere.. immerse myself in other cultures, get lost, and then find myself all over again.. I find myself wanting a situation much like the book eat. pray, love......It just seems as I get older I fantasize more and more about getting rid of my student loans... That stems from going to school for something that came easy to me instead of something that I loved I think.

I quite fancy a few flash keyboards. I'd definitely want the model of late '60s clavinet Stevie Wonder used on Superstition and Christine McVie used on You Make Loving Fun, and a harpsichord. A pipe organ would be nice as well, and one of those huge dual manual Roland analogue polysynths from the early '80s. I'd probably need to take some piano lessons as well, mind...

Lilly.. ages ago, my Grandfather handbuilt a Harpsichord for my Grandmother. somehow, I doubt my Aunt kept it when she shitcanned so much stuff after taking over the house.. the cunt.

Indeed so :( My list would probably be a custom-built, off-road capable RV, along the lines of "Explorador" (a Land Rover based motor home), then lots of travel in it, seeing everywhere of note in Europe, then maybe North & South America too ... maybe start in the northernmost point in Alaska and travel down and around, ending up in the extreme south of Tierra del Fuego ... ... oh and a brand new ZX-10R on the back of it, for dicking about on whenever I camped up for the night.
