Oh, and Wyldhrt to further elucidate matters [:D] I actually sent the OP a non-attacking response trying to explain some things about the original query of the other thread.
It was, of course, deleted unread... probably because for whatever reason the OP doesn't tolerate people who defy his perceived attacking persona well.?
It's really hard to be a victim when people aren't attacking you.
Note to the OP: stop posting for awhile. See how the many of regular posters begin threads in Off Topic and Polls and Random Snippets. Just read for awhile. While you are reading figure out what constitutes non-provoking language and responses. Some people are more successful than others.
(Hint: whining and being a professional perpetual victim do not garner favorable responses. Conspiracy theories generally do not fit in with many people's thinking and obsessively posting on the same topics will not engage people's attentions except to annoy them. My personal belief is that everyone has redeeming qualities and I have seen you exhibit glimmers of compassion towards others. What are your other socially redeeming qualities; stop hiding those.)
Watch how people interact with each other when they are starting threads without accusations and are instead enjoying each other.
Then. Do. That.
Emulate a poster that you like.
If you don't like anyone then please exercise your need for masochism elsewhere because everyone on CM is not going to change to suit you and you have demonstrated that you will not even try to accommodate or adapt yourself to the clime here.
You may not like it but in the real world people have to adapt every day.
If the micro-cosm that is CM is incompatible with you then just recognise it and be grateful that unlike real life you don't have to figure out who gets custody of the dog or whose books and CDs belong to whom.
Making a clean break is relatively easy.
You can leave and always know you were right.
I am sorry you are lonely, but at least you have your own website and you can put your energies into that.
But David, as far as being unwelcomed goes, you made us as unwelcomed as you feel.
You can be right all you want but that will not change the truth of it.
