Obama has been whining since he took offfice....actually before that..reading his books show that he has probably has whined all his life! It's all someone else's fault. He's willing to man up and take responsibility....but remember...he inhereted this mess! And. while he trouts that he is willing to cut .... first 1 trillion then 3 trillion now 4!? But wait..... he stilll wants to spend 7 trillion MORE. Like the lady who buys the 500 dollar designer dress for 100 and then spends the 'saavings' on accessories....the whole time thinking how smart she is to save 400 when in fact she just put 500 on her credit card! ! If looked at closely what Obama last offered was 3.7 trillion sounds good huh? Over 10 years.....ok.... But wait......only 2/3 of that is actual cuts....the rest will be tax increases. That means its not really a cut..... So what exactly? He's was gonna spend 14....lucky us he is willing to not spend an extra 2 trillion plus raise taxes to order another 1.3 trillion. While it will mean higher prices for us....but Dam generous! He also propose to further tax the oil co.'s to pay for a million elect cars. We the people will be paying 10 dollars a gallon when Obama and his crew are done comprising..(and the crew thinks we should pay that much!) ...and next yr. The heat will cost much more cos when Obama could not get a bill he said he would use the EPA to shut down coal energy......they have shut down 5 plants.....that will cause a rise in prices and possible brown outs cos the remaining plants will have to take on more ..... And the price of retooling to reach higher expectations.....all this will add to the price of all the things we buy..... Shopping....see gonna be hurting..... But Obama will not let that stop him from saving the world! The senate refused to allow a debate on CCB.....took a vote....voted it down and left for the weekend...that was early this afternoon....but boehner should have stayed to work out a deal....ok! A report by the n.y.t said obamas budget does nothing to address s.s. Medicare/caid planning for contuined spending any epanding the rolls. And is lacking in actual details...... It also said over the next 10 years the debt will continue to grow mainly because of entitlements. And the that cuts MAY or MAYNOT pan our depending on what congress does in the future.... I have been asking all along....how is spending more and more .....more than ever before.....more than all the past presidents from Washington to bush 2.......added together......with no end in sight...how is that a good plan...??? Even if we had another trillion in revenue......that would be a drop in the bucket .....how is this good????? And who honestly thinks they will not eventually include all incomes in the hike??

I am not an Obama supporter and I have been critical of him for not growing a pair and dealing with these amateurs in the House... so why you are pointing that post at me is highly illogical

Even with their cuts, we will continue to add to the debt, with no end in sight. 2) If we had another trillion in revenue, we'd be down to a $270 billion deficit--easily addressed with cuts. Hardly a drop in the bucket--it would actually address the problem.

I have read many of your posts....and one thing is clear as day...you have not read many,if any books.So the premise that you read Obama's book is stretching things just a bit. Now if you had said that someone had read it to you.....that I might buy.

That is a funny one mike....and I will admit that reading his books was not a study in pleasure but I was intrested in who this man was .....well the first one read like a college extra credit text ....easy 9th grade reading level..... The second on was a jumbled group of chapters.....I found it irritating....expecially after the third or fourth time he said something about Americas greatest sin....it was very down on America..... And he whined about not fitting in every where he lived....no not just not fitting in....it was always someonelse's fault.........he whined about not fitting in at work.....he whined about how hard community organization was.....ect..... I will give him credit for one idea in the second book that I thought was great. Get companies to come into the projects hire locals and rebuild the place....training and jobs......an excellent idea..... He never explained how it could be done....I am suer he thinks goverment should pay for it all.....

Sorry lady you give no indication at all of possessing anything approximating intellectual curiosity .So I'm not buying this....on the other hand I do believe someone told you what the book was "about".... Leading you by your not so cute nose to the very conclusions they spoon fed you. Let's be serious here anyone that reads as a habit,picks up a rudimentary ability to spell....even if we are just talking about basic words....you know ones with like three letters or so....
