Hi! New here... Unhappy about the quality of dildos and butt plugs that we were finding, in addition to concerns about products that we had that MAY or MAY NOT HAVE come from China (lead in paint, BPA in plastics, etc.), we decided to embark on a new venture in handcrafting wooden sex toys (right now dildos and butt plugs) out of locally-obtained sustainable wood. We get the wood from a local historical wooded area (that is pesticide free!), from fallen trees. My husband has done woodworking for the greater part of 20 years now...if you've ever been to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, check out the floor in the Armor Room. Anyhow, he's an artist by nature and has produced some very interesting and pleasurable products! As we are very concerned out the environment and chemicals being introduced to our bodies, rest assured our items are coated with a non-toxic and water-soluable colorant. Our items are sanded to a hard glass-like finish that tightens up the pores of the wood, and then it is sealed with a non-toxic BPA-free sealant that is hard, durable, and adds a glossy shine. We are VERY HAPPY with the turnout of our items - my husband's creative, artistic side is going wild with this and...well...I get to enjoy them!
