I hate to interrupt a conversation where you haven't stomped on your own dick yet, Ken, but would you care to apply your disregard for this activity to the recall efforts in Wisconsin?

Apples and oranges.

I have absolutely no problem with recalls (although I did get a good laugh from Issa's spectacular failure to use a recall to buy the govenor's mansion in CA).

As I've stated several times in this thread my issue is with the California ballot initiative process. It is too easy to get a question on the ballot and the initiatives allowed are too broad and too constraining on local and state government. Maybe you should have someone who can read what is actually written rather than what you wish is written explain to you what I've written.

So then you are quite ok with trying to frighten people away from a process which has a particular use you don't think is appropriate for the people to have at their disposal.  No comprehension problems at all, Ken.  I said you were an authoritarian before, and you've confirmed it.

Oh, just a word for Wilbur;

Having been drawn into Ken's distraction games before, watch his links.  He frequently lies about what they say.  Sometimes he just makes shit up out of thin air, and posts an unrelated link, figuring nobody will check.

No, do you understand that you can be less than thrilled with direct democracy and still not be an authoritarian? If you can't you then have to say the Founders were authoritarians because they did their best to keep direct democracy out of this nation.
