It really is that simple and we will fucking see just how strong I am. But I think I got it beat another way. IT IS NOT STRENGTH. You say no to drugs or whatever the fuck, if you do it because you don't want it, where is this strength ?
This is all bullshit. I am not necessarily stopping drinking, come on. But my buddy's Dad, named Junkman, actually quit smoking yet continued to drink. I looked him in the face and asked him just what the fuck he was made of, what planet he was from. If you smoke cigarettes and drink beer for DECADES, and take your pick of what to stop ? It is alot easier to stop the beer as you continue to smoke than it is to stop smoking if you continue to drink beer.
We'll see how this goes.

Well, in 7 years and a day, you'll have caught up with me.
Quitting smoking was easy for me. I was motivated. For some reason my caffeine consumption dropped. Didn't really affect my EtOH consumption. That dropped off (along with much of my kink shit) for other reasons.
My brother is the 18th, too. He was LT/Capt. 62nd Engineers, the battalion with the most Purple Hearts per capita during the whole Nam clusterfuck. Almost 3 tours. Lots of stories there, some pretty gruesome.
I've been sipping Crispin's Artesanal Hard Ciders. It's too hot even for summer beers for me here.
