I think that there is a different kind of cruel often. I find women are more cruel about physical aspects of the submissive more frequently but there are many male dominants that are into humiliation thankfully.

Some Dom's are more into humiliation, some are less, this do not really depend on sex but on personal preferences.

This is a bit more historical, it is still seen as very humiliating for a man to be a cuckold, while it is not the same for a woman who's man sleep with more women, I think it is pretty horrible to be cheated on either way. Feelings of insecurity of self are not exclusive to one sextherefore it can be worked into humiliation play that much more effective. It is that same that slut like it or not is more a female term as in society a woman who sleeps around is a slut, and is dirty and it is humiliating while a man that sleeps around is seen as a stud and it is seen as a show of strength. I think that is silly, but that is how society work so people work that into their play.

i'll still say i haven't met many; i've met one or two before you, and i'll meet one or two after, i'm sure.

and i wouldn't say the male equivalent of queening is rimming, since isn't queening generally involving chick bits? rimming is rimming whether it's a man or a woman. well and some people get super elaborate with it and have special queening chairs made (so then they're not even really sitting on anyone's face). maybe queening is the whole enchilada? cunnilingus and rimming together? i've never done it and have only vague ideas.

Well...now I don't know. You've got me thinking. I had always thought that queening was more to do with the act of sitting (as in on a throne), and so, by virtue of anatomy, all chick bits can be reached if a woman is the one doing the sitting, but only one area (maybe two, dependent on how far he leans) of the man can be reached.

Hold on. I'll Google queening. (I can't believe I'm 38 and I'm here on a Sunday afternoon Googling queening.) Yes - queening is the "sexual practice of face sitting."
So...the male equivalent...basically, that's his ass, unless he moves forward a bit to lean his balls in more.

Well, you get the impression that those market dominas (not lifestyle women) are just about humiliation and being mean, but truth is it's what gets many men off. It's more hot to see a woman being mean to a man than a man being mean to a female sub. Plus the porn industry gives that kinda of stuff becuz consumers like it . You definitely can find sites where women subs get beat up bad but those sites are less in demand .

Finally , so many more people are interested in women and what stuff their up to than they are men. Look how many more threads are started about women than men. Women get more attention then men even on forum boards.

I dunno kaliko, if you consider queening a variant of breath play, more than actual position, then face fucking could qualify as a rough equivalent. If you focus more on the result, lack of breath until the top chooses to permit the bottom to breathe, instead of how it looks.

As far as cuckolding. That's more due to the difference between male and female psyches. The majority of males, when sex is dangled in front of them but not permitted, grow more sexually interested. THank you everyone for your replies :) They've all been very good and insightful. I suppose the answers WERE sort of obvious, but sometimes it's the obvious stuff that we completely miss. Plus it's to get confirmation from the Dommes around here how things work.

Anyway thanks again for replies ^_^ I don't have anything to add, as it seems to have been discussed pretty well(plus Im on a trip to romania now, so not much internet time for me).

Same reason why male Doms are portrayed as misogynists or sexually dysfunction-ed, or just interested in sex but not really "domming". It's because people can't imagine anything that extends beyond their own little worlds or what they themselves would do or like.
