So  my dinner neighbor now has a mass on her adrenal and her kidney- she is 77.  (not the same gal who we chatted about w the pain pill problem)   She goes for another MRI.    Adrenal is a gland that effects the whole body.

She gets these attacks where she is out of it for several hours- a day or 2.  Has to throw up and sleep.   Her colon is also icky- but cleaned up since she had antibiotics.

This is interesting- because she too is on thyroid meds- hypo- as I am.   Hormones...   I dont know that we know enough about them.

Adrenal gland and thyroid problems often go hand in hand, tight interaction, if you are hypo the adrenal gland often tries to supplement and therefore gets fatigued

interesting.    She goes to DR often for her TSH checked- blood work.  I mean she runs to the dr more then I would.  Tho I am 30 years younger.

Wow hunky, do you have any friends or neighbors who don't have some kind of debilitating illness? LOL

At 77 it would not be unusual to have a slow growing mass. The odds of having slow growing cancers are higher in the elderly.
