So many fake profiles. So many idiots looking for a handout. What the hell is going on here?

First, WELCOME to the site. Second, you pose a frequently asked question. Just remember, the site is free, and if you don't like someone's profile, you can avoid it in many ways. CM does a good job of filtering out the illegal stuff. Past that, you have to filter out what you don't find credible. Good luck in your search.

Welcome to the world wide web , where all the people in the world have the same access to all the same sites that you do , and can say and do most anything - some of which you may not appreciate. There are people who will take advantage of everything presented to them and try to turn it into an opportunity to scam someone for a quick buck. It's the sad way of the world....

Funny, I don't see this issue wth Fetlife. I think Collarme needs to change their TOS.

I think anyone who whines about fakers withing six months of their joining should be banned forever. especially if they havenever partaken of the boards, however, that is about as likely as Collarme changing their TOS so stop complaining and either leave or join in hello BTW in case you have a nice thick skin

to all those people with your hilarious comments about Fetlife vs CM... Fetlife is a social networking site, just like this. they may not have certain functions, but what I can tell you is that the site is not auto moderated by a computer. Fetlife has mods, which constantly monitor the site. I do not receive ANY spam messages on Fetlife, nor do I see too many "Financial Dommes". Wonder why?

I get at least one spam message a month on Fetlife, always from some random schmuck who saw my photo but hasn't bothered to read my profile and wants me to do X, Y and Z to him. Granted, it's not as many as I've gotten here, but that is, in large part, because the search feature sucks monkey balls on Fetlife. In addition, there are at least half a dozen groups specifically geared toward finanacial dommes and the people who enjoy that fetish. One of my friends, who I knew for many years before either of us joined Fetlife, founded one of the largest of those groups. So to be blunt, your dubious praise of Fetlife lacks any foundation in the realities of the site, only your subjective and severely limited experience.

So, why are you in here bitching about it instead of over in Fetlife doing the dance of joy??? I mean, because, when I go to a bad restaurant and read a crappy menu, and then find a good restaurant with a good menu, I always run back to the bad restaurant and stomp around and tell everyone there how bad it is instead of sitting down and eating in the good restaurant, yep, every time.
