The "Lion of the Desert", the cold and calculating mastermind who took and ran this country for decades, is unable to engage the rebels on open ground without being bombed to hell by NATO and unable to move forces to the rebel held cities for the same reason using his ample armor and trained and well equipped regular army.
What should he do...what has happened..
...After the much of the rebel forces entered Tripoli almost unopposed, NATO spokespersons indicate no aircraft are being used over the city (for obvious reasons)...then in the second day, inexplicably, fighting intensifies in the early morning after a night of rebel victory celebration and there are reports rebel units are actually disguised regular army units moving freely through the city and engaging the once celebrating rebels in close quarters. The once "secure" airport is being shelled by regular army forces and the rebels indicate they are "meeting heavy resistance". CNN reports citizens are fleeing the city in incredible numbers very afaid... CNN reports on site indicate they are uneasy and unable to move about the city now and report seeing regular army units attacking rebel units in streets close to them. Incrediblity, CNN reporters in Atlanta still speak of a new government even as rebel units fight for their lives in streats running with blood. Live pictures are no longer available in Tripoli and OMG, CNN reports Nato jets now reported trying to bomb regular army units in the city itself ... surely this is not true...that would be a desperation move by NATO to save the rebel army?
