I just thought I'd suggest manners. I have no problem whatsoever with you having poor ones - it is you that will have the problems.

The intros section IS about making impressions - why did you think it wasn't?

Since you started out in the intro section, you were obviously attempting to make an impression, but as Steven has pointed out, so far it's been a bad one.

Here's the faux pas to date:

Initial intro started with a tragedy that could be perceived as a bid for sympathy

Initial intro ended with an arrogant statement about your photos: you won't be disappointed

When posters relied with condolences, you ignored them

When a cute female sub replied, you very patronizingly called her baby, then you went on to tell her about your recent purchase of a beach house, as if perhaps you could buy her. Both were hugely insulting, IMO.

When some posters called you on your BS, you said you had thanked them. Where? Don't you know how easy it is for someone to see all your posts? Are you telling me you sent them Cmail? Since Steven did not appear to get a message from you, I think you lied. Your first impression is just getting better and better, isn't it?

Then you declared: Seems some people want to know everyones business. Er, what about an open message board don't you understand? Once you start or post on a thread, it's there for whoever wants to comment.

Then you went on to insult most of those who replied to your intro with this statement:
If you can't take it like it is, you have a problem

I'm sure you can buy someone to replace your last lover and share the new beach house , but you may find that the discussion side of CM is not terribly tolerant of Bull Crap, no matter how rich it is.

I take it your the Master of this site and your in everyones business. From what I have seen over the years, you have your nose stuck up everyones ass.

Why yes, DarkSteven IS the Master of this site. Unfortunately, the full name was too
long to fit in his user id, so being the humble man that he is, he finds DarkSteven to
be more than sufficient.

As for his nose up other peoples ass? Only the lucky ones. [:D]

Now, off with you and your poor manners! Your future lover awaits you...somewhere.

You've seen things "over the years," so you've been here for a while, yet you're just introducing yourself now?
And your intro says you're new to the site. Which is it?

If you've been reading the site for years, you would understand why Dark Steven is, indeed, the Master of this site.

And that's why I stayed out of this discussion until now. The creepiness factor totally squicked me.

Kinda like this:

I thanked everyone but it wasn't all on this page. Anymore questions?

Since that was the first page, which other page is missing?
The minus 1 page?

And the business that "everyone is into" was at your invitation, the least you could do would be a gracious host at your own party.

Well! We chose to show ourselves now because we've been montoring this site for sometime and have found that most of the people here, with the exception of a few are trying to be something their not. But we've found, that you can be anyone on the computer. Go Figure

Are "we" having an identity crisis?

Maybe "we" will feel better down at "our" beach house.

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: Long-Term Lover (8/29/2011 3:39:26 PM)

We?  I thought you were new to the site and your last lover died in a car accident?  Now you've been monitoring it for years?  How hard is it to keep your story straight for two pages?  Next thing you know we'll be learning that your beachfront property is a refrigerator box.

GreedyTop -> RE: Long-Term Lover (8/29/2011 3:44:53 PM)

I think you are being generous, WInnie.. I think the beachfront property is that board that got washed up on the docks at Montauk?

BurntKitty -> RE: Long-Term Lover (8/29/2011 3:51:25 PM)

But, GT, that overpass near 95 is mighty close to a canal.

Dude, if I chose to misrepresent myself online, I would not have chosen to be a 55 year old diabetic.

gorman57 -> RE: Long-Term Lover (8/29/2011 5:34:50 PM)

Oh! I forgot to tell you. It is in a Refrigator BOX With bright red stripes and candle on top. Who is gorman57 ?
