farglebargle -> Why does Eric Cantor (R-VA7) hate his constituents? (9/2/2011 5:09:12 AM)

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2011/09/01/va-hotel-evicts-paying-liberal-guests-to-avoid-confrontation-with-eric-cantor/

quote:

Cantor said of the desperate Va. residents who had gathered to speak with him:

“I don’t see how that’s productive.”

Cantor: Government for the Wealthy. You can go fuck yourself.

FirmhandKY -> RE: Why does Eric Cantor (R-VA7) hate his constituents? (9/2/2011 7:08:47 AM)

So, a bunch of out-of-town "progressives", who planned on disrupting his meetings (and who will do everything to campaign against him and everything he stands for, in any way they can) were asked to leave a private hotel in which they planned the attacks?

These "progressive" groups were only there to disrupt and belittle.  They got called out on their BS.

Just like your post, where you make it seem as if Cantor caused it, is behind it, or condones it, which is nowhere in the article you posted, or the original article in ThinkProgress where this originated.

In other words, you made shit up and threw it out there to blacken the reputation of people with whom you disagree, and you call them unprincipled?

I thought FD had the monopoly on this type of douchebaggery, but I see our resident NY Hippy has happily taken the reins and drove right over the cliff.

What part of "booked space in a separate ballroom"
and "hoped to discuss with Cantor their concerns about unemployment and job creation after his scheduled event."
didn't you understand?

Or don't you think Representatives should listen to their constituents issues? Could there be a more Anti-American position than "elected representatives don't have to listen to their constituents?"

I dont find FD's stuff that useful. That being said, I do find it curious you will smack liberals around for doing stuff that conservatives do all the time. yet, you do not seem to have a problem with that. Its 'ok' in your book if conservatives go to a Democratic's rally or town hall meeting and behave like 12 years olds. Have you not been to a Tea Party rally in the last three years?

Your right, those groups propably went there to disrupt Rep. Cantor's brand of politics. Is that any different from the scores of conservatives that travel great distances just to upset and disrupt the Democrat's politics? So where is the accountibility?

If your going to bash the politics of another person, while giving a free pass on stuff you like/agree with, even though both are the same.....why should someone take your seriously? Should the ones from 'out of town' (beyond the limits Rep. Cantor is "responsible for") been denied? Depends on the person. The media should be allowed in, and others that understand being an observer does not mean holding signs, shouting, or any other form of distraction. Now those liberals and/or progressives that are actually within Mr. Cantor's district/region, *DO* have a right to make their annoyance and anger known to Mr. Cantor. Do you have a problem with those people? The ones that have an actual right per the rules of our nation, to hold their elected officals fully responsible and accountible for any and all words/actions?

I love it. Keep attacking ME. The fact that you're reduced to ad-hominem makes me happier than anything else you can imagine.

See, you're attacking ME because I'm right about the points I've been making.

Remember, First person to Ad-Hom. loses the argument.

Losers.

nobody has commented on you let alone attacked you, just the shit you post.

Actually, accusing him of making it up is a direct attack.

joether,

It's what Firm has always done.

Much the same manner as he post something from a right wing source with his favorite "this is interesting".  Heaven forbid you question where one can find the "facts" listed anywhere but a right wing blog.  Then he will start blasting you as partisan while defending his own partisan post.

It is hysterical to watch.

Remember the first person to not know what an ad hominem attack is loses.

And attacking you is dangerous, the steam seen coming from your ears adds to global warming.

Calling a liar a liar is a "direct attack"? In this case its more like being minimally observant.

fuck off it is not. it is accusing him of making something up. saying he's a fucking moron would be a direct attack.
put away the bong and get your fucking head straightened out before you post again.

Firm, Fargle always does that!
Look at his question on the header. He made up his own mind "first" now he just wants a fight with whoever "disagrees" with him!
Unless you know him personally, how can anyone know if Cantor "hates" his constituents?
So, he finds a "source" that agrees with him and voila, a new thread!
Boy, it's going to be awful interesting in here starting next summer!
The lefties will all have to wear "Depends" undergarments when they start panicking in June, July, August? We should get an anchor pool going on that one!
Boy, they're going to start running out of excuses for Oblunder soon!
"Brilliant legal scholor? Nah, that only worked  before and shortly after the election until everyone found out he only wrote one paper that'd get an "F" in high school."
"Suing guitar companies who aren't Union and don't give work to Indians and people in Madegascar?" Using (our) Justice Dept. to enforce foreign countries laws?" "Well,....he's got to have a good reason for that, ...right?" "Anyone?"
"Getting us involved in military action in Libya?" "SHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Boy, the excuse making lefties for Obama are going to be coming up with more and more bizzare excuses every week, each one more incredulous than the one before it!
It'll be great sport to come in here every day and read the latest installment of the excuse factory, feet up on desk, trying not to spill my coffee!
Imagine how wacked out they're going to be after months of that?
"Hey Lefty! Why are you late for work?"
"Well, well, I walked out to get into my car and, and,....a Giant came, grabbed me and put me on top of my roof!" "That's why I'm late."
It'll be like "Tommy Flan-A-gan" has millions of cousins!
How do you keep making excuses up for a guy that more and more people per week hate?
At what point do otherwise intelligent people come out and admit that they made a mistake?
You know things are getting very bad when Yahoo is editing out criticism of Oblunder!

There are a few who always do that.... on both sides of the spectrum.

WRONG!

I was browsing Google Reader, and found the story FIRST, then I posted it, editorializing in the headline.

But you know, you're probably really used to being wrong all the time anyway.

Hey, who expects an adherent to the Republican Religion to understand accountability, transparency, and openness?
