My ideal partner is neither dominant, nor submissive. Hell, he's not interested in d/s at all. We have no "protocol". He makes me laugh, he makes me cry. OK, the crying isn't from sadness, it's from his damned fiberglass arrow and golf clubs. He has the most wonderful way with sadism, that appeals to the masochist in me.

And my answer reflects that title. Sex partners are different than other kinds partners and the sex partner aspect of someone may be quite different than other of their aspects.
I have found such a wide range of attributes to potential sex partners, but the very best kink sex partners are those who can open up to who they really are, whose basic drive for sex is jacked into their kinky desires. Some have only become aware of this while we were in the throes of having sex, though, lol.

Love, same life stage, commonality and compatibility, similar moral and ethical values. But I don't look for sex partners. I looked for a life partner which is something else.

Good point. Of course it is always a blessing to find a great life partner. Meanwhile I will keep Myself happy and entertained with My sexslaves, workslaves, 24/7 slaves, and other slaves. Still searching for a good life partner...
