Whenever I post to the forum, I see a "Vanilla"under my login name and an ice cream cone below it. When I see others' posts I see quite varied descriptions and graphics. I tired to set my avatar, but that did not change anything. Mods, others any tips?

The icecream will go away when you have posted 25 times . It happens to everyone that is new.

The more often you post the more it will change. If you do a search in the posts for ranks than you will find a topic that says what each changes at(by way of numbers of posts) I used to have it up really don't care what it says over there so I don't have it anymore. Basic thought I believe is supposed to be the larger the number of posts the better tag you get.

Read the FAQ in the Admin forum. It should answer all your questions regarding the icons. Just as a side note, some posters have custom designations under their user names. Sometimes the moderators will respond to a request for one, made by a frequent poster and other times they bestow somewhat unflattering ones on those whose behaviour is somewhat less than stellar. ;) http://www.collarchat.com:80/m_117979/tm.htm
