A mate of mine known as knacker sharted on Venice Beach in a pair of shorts that were white & almost see through when wet. He tried to get the skid mark out in the sea failed & then went to the mens lavatory.

Got arrested for being naked whilst washing his shorts out.
My apologies to your friend, but I laughed my arse off at that

As for the topic of the thread...

Having a towel or bit of clothing under a naked arse when seated in public seems like a sensible policy to me just on the bases of health and hygiene reasons. Thoughts, opinions?

I agree.

Seconded (or thirded.) 'Specially when said nude dude or dudette sneezes.
Fourth'd

I suppose it boils down to what you prefer - a towel or refrigerated toilet paper.

I once had a conversation with a Dom that said I was expected to wear a dress with no panties and then sit with my naked pussy against the seat of the booth in the restaurant. I told him that wasn't sanitary. He told me I wasn't submissive.

I'd have told him he's a peice of shit. :P

I think it's a reasonable request.. It's for health and safety reasons.

The first time I hear "sharted" was on the movie "Along Came Polly". It was the funniest thing Ive ever heard, and reading that makes Me glad I wasn't drinking anything at the moment.

But to the subject, sanitary is important, put a towel under you. Don't want your hoohaa touching the seat or your balls hanging out or floppin all willie nillie. I would say that the tricky part comes when you go to another seat and can't remember what side of the towel you used, lol.

I think it aight to occure naturally to nudists to cover up what they're sitting on, with out some law to tell them to, and if it dont or they wno't shame on them.

I've always wondered about submissives who claim they go around without panties and wearing short skirts. In private that is one thing, but if you are going around to do anything in public then (at least where I live) you have to to basically put your privates down on taxi cab seats, subway seats, bar stools, upholstered restaurant banquettes, etc. etc. etc. I'm with you on the ewwww factor. Any person who doesn't think this is unsanitary must have a very poor sense of what hygiene really means...just saying....[&:]

Slightly off topic but hotels wash (maybe, if you are lucky) the same washcloth's that some old hairy guy washed his ass with as the pillow case you will put your face on.
Enjoy your next vacation. :)

Like the good advice in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "a towel is the most important item". There is even a Towel Day. Besides being a good item for nudists to sit on, a towel has many other uses.

Thank goodness for this article.

I have had to sand down the benches in my sauna twice.
