BUT....

I am not talking about being reconciled with your weight...or if you or your partner are attracted to each other despite your weight…or…if your partner likes or dislikes your weight.

If you are telling me that at no time in your overweight life you have not looked in the mirror and wished you could be what slim sexy model…then I will find it hard to believe you.

As if you care what I believe I’m sure.

Butch

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Weight (9/11/2011 2:25:58 PM)

Did the OP ever come back to discuss his sperm count? Just wondering.

tiggerspoohbear -> RE: Weight (9/11/2011 4:14:20 PM)

Nope.  I think after the 4 or 5 times he stated it, well, he may have figured out we didn't give a damn.   [:D]

Weight has nothing to do with this lifestyle of course…but it does show a lack of will power in most…but not all.

Anyone can lose weight by either eating less or exercising more and all the faster if they do both.

I’d bet the farm that most of the men and women in this thread that are overweight and claiming it is their choice or they don’t really care, are full of crap…If they had the will power they would love to be the man with the six pack or the woman with the Victoria secret body.

But...this struggle with self image, denial, or will power may show a weakness but is not the measure of their worth.

Butch

I love that entire post, but especially the bolded part.  Good stuff Butch!

Would not matter if you believed me or not. I have never wanted to be one of those models. I was raised to love my body, all the curves. The women in my family werent dainty little waifs... they were full blooded native americans who embraced their bodies as they embraced their men.

Its my opinion that alot of obesity has its roots in those skinny models with the impossble to duplicate bodies. Its great they can look that way. Its not the way I wish to look.

Glad you feel that way tazzygirl...but just a side note… it does matter to me what you believe...just hope you understand my belief has no malice.

This is why I *generally* stopped reading and responding to weight threads....... I'm not sure why adults, such as ourselves, can not be mature enough to discuss concepts such as: weight, sex, preference, etc. I have a feeling it comes down to motives and intention. I would be beyond thrilled if just once someone would start a thread on weight and have some positive thing to say. I don't understand why people need to start threads on their "preferences"... I mean for fucks sake I don't go around starting threads about how all men with less than a 9 inch cock are worthless!!

Kali

This just made me LOL... which is a good thing considering the effed up day I've had. [:D]

As for me, I'm interested in girth as well as length. Size queens need to have standards, yanno.

*nods authoritatively*

Nobody said anything about choice. Read the damned message before you submit such palaver. I was talking about health, nothing else. And while I could care less if some woman wants to be a 5'2" 350 pound of blubber, I do resent her pending ill health and repeated health problems (if it hasn't already occured) causing my health premium to increase. Hey, I'm 74, weigh 168 pounds, am 5'10", have a standing heart rate of 58 beats per minute, blood pressure of 115 over 84, hike 10k's a day, eat normally, have the sperm count of a 40 year old, have sex at least three times a week with My submissive of 10 years and often take part in marathons. Nothing special about Me, just a normal person who has the common sense not to become a reclining whale.

I haven't read all the posts on here but your comment about it making your health premiums increase reminded me of this article I read on September 7th...This might be the reason they have increased too! I am sure I saw the original article on MSN but could only find this one right now.

Butch,
The part I bolded has probably done more to cause me to gain weight than anything else I've ever tried....and trust me I've tried nearly everything out there.

What has worked for me in beginning the dissolution of this weight, has been the concept of eating every two hours. I had burned out my metabolism and the less I ate the more I gained....

But, I tried the whole "eating less" countless times.... In fact recently I had lost nearly 50 pounds and decided I needed to do what 'society' was telling me which is: eat less and exercise more. The result? I gained nearly 20 of those back.

I'm blessed to have people in my life who care about me today and want whats best for me.

Kali

kiwisub12 -> RE: Weight (9/11/2011 6:26:20 PM)

My first master loved big women. ..... and someof them were 300 pounds and more. They made me look petit.

My sweetie loves the whole package. He isn't "into" fat women, but in me loves my personality, my intelligence, my wit and my kinkiness. He would prefer I had the body of a 25 year old weight and height proportional - but the package is more than one part. ....and the fact that i won't ever see 50 again may have something to do with the excess weight. It is definitely harder to maintain after 30-odd.
My point is .... he isn't hung up on one facet of a person. He has the wit and wisdom to consider every aspect of an individual..... and love one who fufills most of his wants.

One aspect of aging that i consider gained wisdom is the realisation that you really can't have everything. You pretty much have to compromise in something. Maybe you give up the wish for a 12 inch penis to have a man who knows what to do with what he has, or accept a woman who isn't 25 anymore to have a companion who understands your cultural references. Maybe it is as simple as choosing a man who is blond rather than a redhead, or a woman who likes reading rather than camping in a tent .... the choice is something that matters to you, and the compromise is needed to be happy - and have a companion who makes you smile to look at them.

While I applaude the OP's vital statistics - after reading them several times - he wouldn't be a match for me. I have no interest in marathons - i would rather go for a walk in the woods, or across the Big Dam Bridge. He wants H\W proportionate - i love men with a tummy. He thinks expensive cars are "significant" - i think they are a waste of money that could be spent on travel. Even if i was H/W proportionate, we would have little in common - and for me, THAT is the significant thing.

tazzygirl -> RE: Weight (9/12/2011 3:05:12 AM)

lol kiwi... I love playing with belly buttons.. and a tummy on a man makes it even better! [;)]

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Weight (9/12/2011 11:52:47 AM)

Tummies are great pillows!!

kiwisub12 -> RE: Weight (9/12/2011 3:20:41 PM)

Tazzy and LadyH - you are both quite correct! There isn't anything for me quite as nice as playing with my sweetie after we have played - and rubbing his tummy and tickling his tummy button are very special. :) I loves me a man with a tummy!!!!![:D]

OP-------> I am built like a shit-brickhouse. So cant relate to your obese theory ... but .... since you are some expert on the obese, I was hoping you could answer my question about yourself?

I was wondering, if old as mold men like you, stink like I think they do? Does goo and grime get stuck inbetween your wrinkle folds and what about that grodie-jodie smell that comes from old peoples dentures?

Dont lie now ....
