Oh heck. Many presidents, if not most did the same damned thing and I don't hear you moaning about it. There are pictures of George W Bush and Gerald Ford with their feet up on their desks in the oval office. Were they acting like kings according to you too? What is the big hairy deal? FDR had the very same precious desk modified to fit his braces. I never heard of any damning of FDR for being rude or king like for doing that. By the way, that desk was given to the President Hayes in 1880. It was never used in the Oval Office until Jackie Kennedy moved it there for her husband to use.
