Don't you ever get fed up with politics ?

As to say, on here all we see is someone griping about politicians be they elected or not, but come to think of it, we are all politicians, but anyway is anyone aware that when what such and such politician is reported to have said or done, we give power to politicians to right the wrongs we see ?

So by griping about politicians are we keeping them from sorting out the things that desperately need to be sorted out, they distracted by the minute petty crap that gets reported and talked about.

The power is ours, give your vote wisely

That said...I see we're short of a specific solution, oh, and adherents to the concept

Nope.  I'll take a wee break from time to time, but since it's the only one of my addictions that isn't illegal, immoral, or fattening, I'm not giving it up.

So, could it be no one has a solution or for that matter, not even a clue, in which case, why vote 'em in if they are clueless, why give power to people who are not going to help matters, or is it we are so indoctrinated with the idea that people stand for election, therefore we must vote and do then gripe afterwards because their only power produced a clueless feck who is more interested in how far they can shove their noses in the trough of good living whilst everyone else suffers.

Does any country have the option of the voting form ;

None of the above ?

Because if they do and a majority ticked that box, that will send a clear signal to the gravy train robbers, we are not behind you, and we know what you are up to, start being useful, or you are gone.

Actually the solution is to vote out any sitting politician, and keep doing so until the "business as usual" politics and pandering to corporate/special interest is stopped. Yeah I am tired of politicians and their cheerleaders, as they really do very little. With the laws and current policies the country could run on auto pilot with the exception of the military.

It is funny to watch the monkeys dance about politics in forums such as this though. It kind of shows how many sheeple there really are.

I'm not sure I agree with this.  I actually liked a former representative we had (Phil English) even though he was a Republican.  He lost in '08 to a do-nothing Democrat who in turn lost to a tea party candidate who hasn't even seen fit to have a town hall meeting since he got into office.  I can't even remember the guy's name and have to look it up every time I want to call his office.  And btw, even though my city is the largest city in his district, he saw fit to close his office here.

The problem is that there are very few decent politicians. If the people are not united in over turning things, and point out the exceptions, then more and more people will find exceptions. Then with all the exceptions, we continue to have what we have. In a political revolution, basically reminding every politician they are a servant of the people first, there may be some casualties in the beginning, but...... they will be the one's that will see what is going on and support it.

There needs to be term limits.

No corporate donations, including PACs.

All contributions should be from individuals, with a limit.

There should be a max amount of funds allowed, the power of the dollar should not determine an election.

Until we the people decide we are going to do what is needed to uphold the very basic principles of a republic, via a democratic process, then things will continue as they have until it takes something much more severe than this.

You're exactly right. What we need is a good dictator who will muzzle and violently suppress all dissent, so that our noble politicians can shower criminal bankers with trillions and ceaselessly bomb foreigners into democracy, right?
Voting won't solve anything. Washington IS the problem.
