Which of the 6.5 billion would we get to kill in order for that population balance?

All the ones who don't fit with the new setup. Disadvantage: it would take... a while.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: A Show for the Foil Hat Wearers :D (9/24/2011 1:47:29 PM)

Ah, so no plans for genocide come with the Plan? Or a method of dealing with all the corpses? Or is it a soylent green type deal?

Utopia...[8|]

I have no idea, I haven't read the manual. [8D]

<ewwwwwwwws on the soylent green approach>

This is a great set of rules:

Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.
Unite humanity with a living new language.
Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.
Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
Balance personal rights with social duties.
Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.
Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.

Unfortunately, the human mind set is currently not fit to accept them. If it were, we would not need the rules. It's all fairly intuitive, isn't it?

From my current perspective (which I have had years to perfect) I don't see the rules or laws of society, government, organized religion, much of anything beyond the laws of nature. And I do not have to adhere to the laws of nature, they rule me whether I acknowledge them or not.

Our (collective) rape of mother earth will eventually extract a horrendous toll. I don't think we need worry about having to eradicate the 6.5 billion, Mother will do it for us.

Just my opinion.

And...is my hat on straight? Does everyone hear that buzzing noise? And what's that smell?

Why not just implement universal availability of family planning. You'd be shocked how quickly birth rates would fall.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: A Show for the Foil Hat Wearers :D (9/24/2011 3:32:05 PM)

Actually they wouldn't. The third world is not like "us". Many wouldn't take birth control for religious reasons. Education for women, though, does make birth rates go down.

China has allready done that.

For those who like to wear tin hats and such, here's some more entertaining info about those Georgia Stones and the ideology behind them.

We do not have the luxury of time.

I think intuition is going the way of common sense and the dodo bird.

"And...is my hat on straight? Does everyone hear that buzzing noise? And what's that smell?"

I think you would get along quite well with my ilk. The buzzing noise though is just my stereo, too many things plugged in and the final gain is too high. If you're smelling something like a clothes iron that is overheated it's the amp, another fan fried out dammit.

Just what do you mean by that ?

"Actually they wouldn't. The third world is not like "us". "

Unfortunately what must be done is to stop all humanitarian efforts. In other words, let them starve to death. Hey, it's better than killing them.

You can hate me now, I don't mind. I'd rather be hated for what I am than loved as a fake.

That is a nice number. Unfortunately democracy's are not likely to implement the necessary measures.

That is for fertile females to decide upon.

quote:

Unite humanity with a living new language.

That is idiocy.

More idiocy.

What, no war any more? It must have been thought up by a simpleton.

It's democracies. Using an apostrophe, followed by an "s" implies a state of possession by the noun in the sentence. But in your sentence there is nothing following the possessive form you have used. Here is a web page you may find useful. http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/621/01/

No need to thank me, I am only too glad to help. [:)]

Termyn8or -> RE: A Show for the Foil Hat Wearers :D (9/25/2011 1:44:18 AM)

I stopped being a graammar and punctuation cop when I caught myself too many times. Fucking simple words I misspelled from age five to forty-dive. Shameful I tellya. And then there're the whose, who's and hoos to boot. And nobody has much in the way of answers for who and whom, ya kinda just feel it.

I have wanted to start a thread on it but I keep fucking up the spelling and/or punctuation.
