Well that's just great. I've always heard the worst place to get sick is in a hospital. But every time I get stressed out, I get sick too. I have a lousy immune system.

My point is that there has to be exposure to a cold, whether at the hospital or somewhere else.

I know, not arguing with you sweetie. The one nurse was coughing like a hack and not even covering her mouth. Of course she's the one who came to question why I didn't have a bracelet on after the x-rays were done, the doc was checking them n gettin ready to release me. Good timing on her part. [8\|]

Yeah, I don't much like 'em at all. I go there to get fixed not to get sick. [8D] My dad pulled a funny one a couple of years ago, didn't hurt himself, but we're still laughing about it. He used to downhill ski, went up the lift and realized he had to pee. Nowhere to go once you're up the top of the mountain and coming back down. Alone on the slope, he figured he'd go into the woods. Unzipped his jacket, snowpants & pants first, took off his skis and went into the trees. Not realizing there was no snow pack, it was soft powder. About 4 ft of it. He immediately sank into it, fell face forward and couldn't get himself back up, no leverage. Meanwhile the snow is getting right into his pants and affecting his ahem parts. Took him about 5 minutes to get back up and finally do his business. Went back to his skis, took them off again and walked straight to the car and headed home. That'll teach him to ask me why I shave in the shower. Minz, I tellsya!! [:D]

I got a doozy!! But I'll just say, never let a drugged out person with an IV out of bed let alone dress themselves... you know, you can't put a shirt on with an IV in your arm... Yeah I prolly shoulda waited for the nurse to unhook me... Ailey

I was 18 years old kid, with a Bicycle just like the one used in the Marathon, Long story short, I ended up on a Slope, (going not to fast), but fast enough when cat cross the rod, I hit the front break hard, the back side of the bike flip over in the air & fell on me of my face on the street, " the funny thing was, even it hurt like hell, when i was going home each one saw me had to Laugh.. i realised that my nose was kissing my cheek" ...... (Immagine) face bruises, & broken nose in 3 places, hurt for monthes, 2 hours operation on that broken nose which after all healed (with a tendency) every time I kneel I felt pain for least a year, & when I remember it..... pain again[&o]

Speaking of bike wrecks... I was around the same age as I was when I smacked into the tree... It was getting cool out, long sleeves weather, and there was a wicked wind blowing in from the west, which never happened in Rochester NY. Or, rather, North Chili (pronounced Chai-lie). I mean, the wind was so strong it'd blow the fleas off a dog. Well, genius here gets the bright idea to get on his bike with a piece of plywood, and let the wind push me down the street, like a sail. Went OK at first, kinda hard to hold onto the plywood. Then a big gust came along, and lifted me almost off the bike. Whoa! Right into a ditch! Damn good thing I had long sleeves. I saw the weeds in the ditch up close and personal. Of course, genius here didn't give a thought about walking home with his bike and a piece of plywood into about 50 mph winds before he set out on his adventure... Took me a loooong time to get home... [:D]
