This may be an old question that has been answered, so please bear with my ignorance.  Is forced lactation of a (healthy) non-pregnant woman healthy, acceptable, risky, okay, unhealthy--what?

Go to medical sites for your answer. A lot of adoptive moms engage in forced lactation to feed their adopted infants, so I'm going with the not unhealthy route. Of course, it needs to be done properly.

It's not easy for sure. I tried it and, after a few weeks, I got a few drops at a time.

Way too much time and effort for me to even consider. Lactation is messy, painful and not any fun at all. Been there, did it twice and won't consider doing it again.

now, for the other person, it sounds like a perfect fantasy - suckling on a breast and getting milk, with little to no effort on their part.

I gave up after a few weeks. It was just not worth the effort. Literally weeks of effort and hard work + virtually no results = me giving up. It was easy when I was pregnant & nursing. Not so easy when I hadn't given birth in 29 years.

forced lactation of a healthy non-pregnant woman is not harmful ... it is acceptable ... not risky ... not unhealthy.
