Polyp removal/colonoscopy - 5/23/2006 7:08:59 PM

I had a colonoscopy last week and a polyp was removed for biopsy. The doc told me to avoid strenuous work and not lift over 10 pounds for a week. How long should I wait before engaging in strap-on play and anal sex. Is there any thing else I should avoid? I am planning on serving my Mistress again in a week. She cares about me dearly and has allowed me to post this question.

Because of some need for abdominable surgery to remove a scar lesion, I have a colonoscopy once a year. you didn't mention where the polyp was removed from, and even if you knew for sure and could give Me the precise position, there's no indicator of the polyps size either so, I wouldn't assume that, i know whether it's safe for Her to use a strapon you just yet.
I would think NO, not until you've made your clinician or at least the specialist that performed the procedure aware of your kink. A perforated bowel is a hugely dangerous condition and would require further surgery and probably a long stay in the hospital as they attempt to bring a rging infection under control.
When you speak with the doctors about your test results for the biopsy, I'd 'fess up and reveal those secret practices that you enjoy even if you find it embarressing. Each member of My Hopuse has yearly physicals and labwork because, I believe in the worth of preventative medicine.
I would recommend that your Mistress order you to make your doctors aware, I'm fairly confidient that the proctologist recognized that you have engaged in some anally erotic play so stop being a woos and communicate with them,. After all, they're working on your behalf.

I agree with Leatherorlace...

Ask your doctor about anal sex.  Where the polyp was removed makes a huge difference.  It's better to be on the side of caution then to have a problem later.  Possibly a small butt plug might be used in place of the strap on?

Thanks for the sound advice. I spoke to my doc last night with the biopsy results, which were negative. He told me I was not the first to ask and not the last. His advice is to avoid deep penetration for fear of a perforated colon. the polyp was remove from my rectum and he said to keep any penetration superficial at 1 to 2 inches. I am sure my mistress will just give my backside a break for awhile. Her advice was to ask my doctor also, but she allowed me to post this question in case I didn't ask. FYI I posted this question on an other site and did not get the serious answers that I was looking for.
The doc did tell me a story about being called to the emergency rood to remove the batteries from a vibrator that was on and stuck in someones butt!!!!
              Thanks leatherorlace and Lady Alexa

I'm glad your biopsy was negative and that you were cautious enough to ask for advice before jumping back into anything.  But the best advice you received here was "fess up and ask your doctor".  I know it's difficult and embarrassing, but your doctor said it all...."you're not the first and won't be the last".  The docs know what people do in their spare time! lol

Posting inquiries on online message boards about medical advice is always risky....what if someone had said, "Ah, don't worry about it!  You can take it!"  You might have taken that advice and gotten into some real trouble. Anyone could sit here and pretend to have a medical degree and pass out bad advice.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll be back in the swing of things before you know it!

Thanks windchymes,
I did get some silly advice on another site, which is why I posted here also. I will talk with my doc in further detail on my follow-up visit in June. I will see Mistress tommarrow, but not to session. I am also her gardener. She is good to me and certainly will not do anything to hurt me and will also be asking about what the doc said in terms of my health, not play. Thanks again for your sound advice.

I'm now a fan of the softer, jellied buttplugs and dildoes that have been drasticially improved in the past few years.
One of My girls is extremely anally erotic and enjys wearing a plug for some long minutes before, I take her,. The other is fond of asplay, but perfers a soft dildo to a buttplug. Go figure, differences all around. lol
The softer plugs and dildoes are cheaper than the rigidly molded ones, thereby giving one the opportunity to replace them frequently, even buying different sizes as the determinations are made about their usefulness. They're much easier to clean and the colored ones have more of an esthetic value in My eyes over the natural colored white ones. I don't care how well they've been cleaned, I'm always looking at them expecting to see some discoloration. lol
Alexa'ss suggestion to start with a smaller device until you've healed adequately to renew the normal regimen of rump humpin' that you enjoyed before is a great after thought that, I wish, I had remembered. lol
you speak of your Mistress as if she's a caring owner and I'm glad to hear that you were so lucky so don't try to rush Her along in resuming the prior regimen. SLOW 'n' SLEAZY are good mantras to remmber. weg.

Having just come through the displeasure of having the very near death experience of a ruptured colon, peritonitis, sepsis and all of the surgery, medication, pain and recovery that goes along with it....I can tell you that it is an experience you would most likely wish to avoid at all cost. My best advice to you has been said already, be open with your doctor and follow their advice. A few extra weeks to wait is not much time in the scope of the bigger picture.
