hlen5, Thanks for your "Welcome." I am excited to be here. Hope to see you around the forums!

Lucylastic, "The pit of filth", "the swamp" DomMeinCT called it, ... maybe I shouldn't be in such a rush to get over that way.
I think I will chart a course through a few different forums and threads first. *wink*
Also, thanks for the offers of help and the vote of confidence.
And on a side note, when do I get a Lair?

Swamps can be fascinating and fun, but you have to watch where you put your fingers and toes, Sasha. :)

Hey everyone! I just have been trying to branch out a little. This hot tub will always be my first creation though. :)

SubvsSlave, Thanks for jumping into our little going concern! Plenty of good folks here. Stay as long as you like and come by anytime!

That said, here, come this way and let me show you. I didn't so much create/start it. I just found this sanctuary here this night waiting upon this rise, under the cover of this wondrous elm, beneath the dark and glorious sky so densely packed with pinpoints of shining light twinkling and full of promise.

GreedyTop,
You do me honor and it has been a long time since I was welcomed or wanted. But I smile and say those are old stories. You all are quickly showing me how to write new ones.

DomMeinCT, thanks for the advice. Always smart to protect the 'feelers'/extremities. Still, that wasn't a swamp. Rather that is a quagmire. In a  manner of speaking I am sure you who have warned me will understand it was my heart that winced once or twice seeing how some were speaking to others. But I know there could be some long running feuds there, and all I saw could just have been the "pushing back".

In my brief time, I have even have had a little mud thrown my way (Not P & R), but I would not, if asked, say it was so much thrown at me; and I could tell the person was hurt. Further, I had already said my piece, I just kept walking as I heard their words strike out at perceived injustice from behind me. It was important for them to speak, not for me to reply. Many have been wronged in life, and I am sure that comes to play from time to time in these avenues of exploration.

I will get up to speed. You all have been great about assuring me there was no rush. I would like to think I have made a small contribution here and there in my short time with CollarMe. I have seen a smile, or set or two of shoulders straightening as I passed. I for my part have already gained a good deal more for my time spent among you.

If anyone wants to check in with me. This is the place.

My first thread, my first dalliance.

To you my fellow sojourners!

*Salutes*

Ok, I am going to try to work on my profile. Maybe even a few pictures. Any advice? You all may have taken a look at it. What is missing? Just some writeup in the right hand column area, a few pics and some journal entries? Is that about the extent of it?

Also, how do I view my profile all of the different ways? I know I can enter my name on the CollarMe search and get a partial view. I can choose to View Full Profile. I can also from that same page in the main navigation pane on the left hand side select Edit Profile. But how do I get to that view that also is a partial view and has a different layout with a picture frame on the left hand side. I liked that one. Just don't remember how I navigated to it.

And if I just go up to the top right while in CollarChat and click on My Profile, is that really just for adjusting what people will see when we make posts?

I promised I would get to this when I hit twenty posts and I am there.

Thanks!

-Sasha

p.s.- Ok, glad i caught this in time for an edit. Not trying to unnecessarily run up my massive post tally. I found the picture frame view. Does everyone know that one? I had added myself to my own address book and when I go to My Profile top right of CollarChat and then select address book on far right and then click on my own name I saw what I was looking for. Do people use that a lot to view others? Or keep track of their recent posts?

Thanks for any insight.

-The S.S.Sasha
