Thus this Master takes great care to establish what medication his subs may be on, Masters own slaves are on no medication, drugs are forbidden but certainly not used , so Master has no concerns about antidepresents being a danger to his owned slaves.

Let's leave off the exotics and go for something common: hypothyroidism.

Many women have hypoactive thyroids; and in many women current research is showing that just "sub-clinical" levels can still be significant.

As a physician then you must be aware that low-thyroid levels can have all kinds of physical and mental mainfestations (including depression).

In the extreme, someone with severe hypothyroidism can die.

Once diagnosed the solution is quite easy.

It does not paint you with a very good brush to say that your slaves are on no medications... and despite leaving it a bit open, are hinting that is SOP as far as you do things.

He's not a physician, not even the space cadet school of medicine would give somebody like him a degree. FFS, he's from the UK but incapable of writing in understandable English - last time I checked they didn't give out medical degrees for jibberish....

If two years later, she has not progressed in the grief process, she nees grief therapy.
She may also need antidepressents but that needs to be diagnosed by a psychiatrist.

As far as not allowing someone with severe clinical depression to use SSRIs? How much life insurance did you take out on her? And are you sure they pay off after suicide?
Seriously dude, you're talking out of your hat. SSRIs saved my life. Without them I would have closed the garage door with the car running years ago.

He's quite local to me so if he's out and about at events I would be quite happy to discuss holistic treatment, the gentleman I care for is severely epileptic - he's gone from several seizures a day to one every week or two because of modern medical treatment.

I would also like to chat with the three slaves over a coffee about their point of view on it.

MisterRaymond do you attend the BBB perchance?

SoulAlloy -> RE: Depression and BDSM (5/17/2012 11:51:13 PM)

Damn I forgot the BBB was this sunday lol... Been wanting to go there for aaaaages (albeit just after payday :p )

My meds are still erratically working, but nearly there for a counselling appointment at last... 6 months on the waiting list so far...[8|]

reconnectsub -> RE: Depression and BDSM (5/31/2012 2:34:03 PM)

I suffer from Acute Anxiety Disorder, and I have found, as a sub, that BDSM is helpful in reducing the anxiety. I also suffer from clinical depression and the results are the same.

I use my sessions with my Master to control my stress levels. I have a very bad temper and when I get stressed at work I yell and lash out. I talk to him regularly and at the end of the week I get my funishment and let it all go with a good cry and orgasms.
