There is so much emphasis on beauty perfection in our world. Think of all the commercials, magazine ads, and radio ads about shampoos, hair colors, make up, lotions, body washes, nail polishes, age defying creams, dental whitings, etc. None of us are immune to the brainwashings that tell us we can never be physically perfect enough! quote:
ORIGINAL: brokenangelbaby I understand peoples reluctance over this but you are rejecting someone for something they did nothing to cause. Can do nothing to cure or alleviate--do not be fooled by the internets remedies, they do not work. No one is perfect and I cannot change my skin...but knowing people will just reject you based on this and not even consider YOU is the most infuriating thing. It isnt contagious. If i am rejected because of my scars and the potential of more scarring and flare ups then it is your loss..I have as much control over this as you do about your height--think how you feel about being judged for something you do not control nor had any input into???? Made to feel ashamed, when you did nothing to deserve this affliction. We are not the sad ones in my mind...it is the superficial people that are....same people who will never understand because they were blessed with normality. Consider yourself lucky.
