You know what? You are beginning to annoy me. If you dislike my opinions, fine.

Move on to constructive persuits.

And yes- your colon needs a good cleansing.

If it make the board of directors happy- they can withhold my golden parachute. My stock options, my 401k.

Clean your colon and get your self hydrated!

OK?

Wow, you're really taking this personally.

I don't need to be an expert to read what experts have to say about various subjects. It just take a little effort, time and reading. Something you're apparently not willing to invest.

For my own sake and knowledge, exactly what multiple IDs do I have?

I think this isnt the place to advice anyone about health matters.
If you are worried about this important stuff, please, read search for,,,yourself. If you decide to change your water intake or anything in your way of life, there is a lot of good information on the net.
Colonics are a superb natural way of cleansing that once you learn to do it, can be made anytime you need. They are so old as the human medicine. But you can consider it very hard to do and go to a shop pharmacy and buy a laxative. Then, you can go again to your based diet on ice cream, hamburguers, snacks, sugar and chocolate. But dont expect your quality of life be very good, not talking that perhaps you dont live very much. You sweat probably will semell very strong, your breath too, and your eyes will be cloudy. There are a lot of people living in such way. Such food choosing are related to criminal and violent behaviours among teenagers.
Water is the more complete solvent in the world. It helps the body to eliminate a lot of poissons and wastes.
Please, visit: http://www.doctoryourself.com/
and take a change of your life, you will never regreet it.

Moderation. Soda- is ment to be an occassion beverage. Not a life force.

Nooooo....tell me it isn't soooo   I thought the only thing keeping me going all these years was my daily intake of Mountain Dew.

shakes her head....I knew i should have sold my Pepsi stock and become a distributor for the "sounds like but isn't" pyramid group selling mangosteen juice.

I'm sorry having stuck it to you with verifiable facts is so personally demeaning. I have to say if you were offended in this thread, internet forums are a wide world of horrors just waiting to shatter that fragile ego. If you have some proof of the medical assertions you're making, feel free to share them. I'm more than willing to cite any and all sources for my claims. Are you willing to do the same?

It wasn't hard to figure out who the thinly veiled dig was referencing, since I was the one disputing your pseudoscience with established fact.

And I note you refuse to say who you think my other IDs are, instead falling back on a petulent remark. Probably better than making more of an ass of yourself by venturing guesses the long-term posters would know to be false.

...interesting site you have there.  Perhaps you should take a look at Virtual Salt and learn more about evaluating internet resources.

The "doctor" you are citing doesn't seem to have anything credible to back him up.  Does give you a few things to think about though... in between his contradictions.

First, you're starting to irritate me.  Would you please stop using me as a reply button?  Reply to the person you are responding to.  It makes life less complicated.

Secondly, ArtCatDom is a well-informed poster who doesn't need to resort to using multiple IDs to make his point.  Your accusation is groundless.

Thirdly, why are making this personal?  You presented your opinion, he presented his.  Take it as such.  This is a forum for intelligent debate, not shit slinging.

Many other posters offerred opinions. Helpful insite.

95% of the folks on this site are very nice people.

What happened was not a fragile ego- or a sincere attempt to enlighten.

I know cat is capable of decent posts. I seen a few.

A new person- or me- has the impression of a click- antogonistic.
Precisely why I stay out of chat rooms.

For a SM board- how is it revelent to back up statements with links? Anyone can own a website. I was up to over 200 of them. I dont claim  to be a doctor. So- this isnt medical advice. Nor am I paid. I dont work for free. I pay my bills. Me. The only one I amswer to is the dude that signs my check. Not a cat whom seems to jolly in edging a flame war.

So- essentially "high maintenence".  If y'all run off new comers with clickish gamesmanship- you then limit the potential of a group. Any group.

I seen the same thing in a garden board.

Lets be clear- the industrial military complex is RIGHT. The peon folks like you and I are WRONG. The SYSTEM, the GOVT, the IRS is right. The peon is wrong.

So why the negative energy?

On other hand. As my friend from Houston would say, WHO CARES!

I know, but I admit it's one of my pet peeves.  If he's going to take the time to write something negative, he might as well be clear about it.

Oh well, it's too far from my heart to kill me.

I just call 'em like I see 'em.  I'm not trying to running anyone off, but if that's the result, so be it.

It's "clique", by the way.  Just thought I'd let you know.  The "click" thing gave me an odd mental image... and an odd comparison.  I suppose we all give the impression of a click, if by that you mean mouse click.  Nevermind, I'm not making any sense.

Edited because I forgot a rather important word.

Missed this the first time around.

Yeesh, just because I'm disputing pahunkboy's New Age quackery doesn't mean I advocate an unhealthy lifestyle.

I must dispute the assertion that colonics are the "natural way". The natural way of cleansing the colon is drinking fluid, eating food and passing stool. The body assists in this process by replacing the cells of the colon lining about every three days. Nature has fine-tuned that system over millions of years.

As for the basis of Doctor Yourself:

No, no, NOMC, you are making perfect sense.  Quite frankly I don't understand people who are so obviously out to attract negative attention as this person seems to be.  He posted some crap about water intake.  He was confronted with some facts and didn't like it.  He's being purposefully antagonistic because someone disagreed with him.  Then he begins to spout some BS about this being an SM board and because of that he doesn't need to have facts.

So, to the OP, how does that work?  Because this is an SM board it's to be treated as a random place to type whatever it is you want whether it's factual or not?  I don't understand...does that mean this is now the place you are going to come and type stream of consciousness type journal entries?  You are going to come here for meaningless thought posting because it's an SM board?  I don't understand.

I don't care what you call it or how you try to split the hairs! If you're giving medical advice and presenting medical & scientific "fact", you are giving medical advice and presenting (so-called) facts. A rose by any other name ...

The claim about websites being essentially a dime a dozen is a strawman. If you saw a review of the safety (or lack thereof) on my own site or on the Harvard Public Health website, which is more credible? Be reasonable.

I make it no secret that quackery of all stripes will illicit a strong response from me. This is not the first time I've responded to pseudoscience with facts and references (both here and in other places), nor is it likely to be the last. I have had too many people close to me harmed by such new age pap to let it slide by without a strong dissent and factual information.

What I do not like is, when some one post some thing on here . No matter what the subject is , There is way to many out there that only find NEGATIVE things to say . Yes I have gotten out of hand in a few , but that is only when myself or my slave is being attached.

The OP offered these things as facts. The medical facts are that he is in error and he got called on it. That is not negative replies, that is providing facts that refute the supposed factual claims.

When things turned negative is when the OP decided to get angry because he was confronted with the truth and he saw no way around it and he began to get belligerent. If you claim factual information be prepared to back it up and site several reputable sources. If you want to present an opinion then say so.

The negativity is because the OP didn't like being asked to support his claims and even said that because this is an SM site that he shouldn't have to support his claims. It is a fairly weak stance to make.
