Congrats on finding each other! Just like anywhere else, you have to dig a little to find a gem that catches your eye. About the collar versus work/family/society thing, my wife and I found that a necklace that rides close to the throat works very well for a public collar. I had found her one from a silversmith that has a triangular-ish shaped Celtic style center piece with a thin chain. I actually proposed to her with it, and we picked out the traditional ring later. We have not picked out our girl's collar, beyond the leather play collar. Slave jewelery, especially necklaces, make for pretty good public collars. The ones that look too much like collars tend to be too easy to pick out, even by nilla people. CC
