Are we still allowed to join, Hannah? Can we even ever mention what we do? Because I post on these boards quite a bit, and I've got the gold letters to prove it, but never about that. (and yes, I do mention that I do pro-pso sessions and fin-dom sessions)

blushes, yes you have mentioned your "side business". But when relevant to the conversation, not as a means of trying to drum up business. that is where the big difference comes in. Yes, we know you do, ok, I think it is cam and phone stuff, but that isn't who are you here. Here, you are person who talks about her relationships, give often good advice and I would say is kind of taking a break from your "work" when you post. Your profile doesn't even indicate you do that.

It is the others whose only purpsoe is to entice unsuspecting, albeit, naive morons into sending them money with nothing but an empty promise. It would seem to me that a pro who has any talent, any respect for her trade wouldn't lower herself to trolling a social networking site needing to announce to all she is looking for business. Don't you find that the least bit tacky?

By all means the pro, or "ex" pros like you, Miss Immortal and Lady Hib. You haven't lied about your past or current activities, but the majority of what you talk about is much more substitive than that, and we like it.

I'm sorry but it just isn't the same as the faux financial doms (most under 23) who are just looking for a guy to buy them stuff and send them money. It isn't kink, it is conning them for profit. They stay on line because they aren't capable of doing it person, they haven't have a clue beyond an instant message something to the tune of "send X dollars to my paypal account you worm and if it pleases me, I will talk to you.

With all my finanical issues, I have often wondered how to get myself such a sweet set up. Obviously there are guys willing to do it, why not cash in. But then that little thing call morals kicks in and I wouldn't feel right just taking from them with no intention of returning someone more than a snotty remark.

My point is there is a way, and it isn't that difficult. I wonder whether the owner of the site LIKEs having the pros thrown in the mix. Who knows.

You know you make a lot of good points(you normally do) but the problem I have is that unless collarme is going to say prodommes can not be a part of site than I don't see what the big issue is. I made a comment awhile back asking if others on the board actually thought they were being helpful when some self obsessed prick came on asking why no one likes him, whats wrong with his profile, how to speak to someone in an email so the person will answer back, etc. I admit I might have a grim view of such things but the way I see it if I'm reading someone's profile and it screams "I'm a prick" at me than I have at least been warned before I wasted my time talking to the person. I see prodomme profiles that say things about piggies and wallets and worms and think the same thing. Well at least whoever/whatever is on the other side of that profile warned the viewer before they spoke to them.

I also have to throw in (as I think someone else did) what about all the married men. Okay, wait never mind them. Never mind the people that are lieing to hide things, or just playing around to jerk off. What about the people that say they are sub when they are just looking to get their knob wet, or to con someone out of rent(looking for room mates my butt) I mean really come on we can't do anything about anyone that lies on the net. And I don't really think it is the job of the folks that own/run the site to play parent for anyone not bright enough to protect themselves from a scammer.

but....

If you are looking for someone to say it would be nice if all the fake , selfish, nasty, rude, liars would get off the net than I'm on your side. Go team honest pervet, yay!

One thing at a time MIP, one thing at a time. Next thread we can have a deep discussion going over all the ways to figure out who is married before you even exchange a couple of emails. It's pretty easy, lol.

Actually I'm pretty sure I know what he means. Bad is pretty clear about most of the stuff he says...but.....it's a bit of a silly thought that many others have brought up before. If they charged for using the word pro people would just stop using it. If people weren't allowed to say....look this is what I do for a living but not the reason I'm here...they wouldn't say it either. And in doing so they would end up missleading a few people. If that rather rambling statement isn't clear let me expain. I do pro sessions but they are not why I am here...period. If I have someone msg me and don't make it clear that I do it than later(yes it has happened) I get jumped for not explaining things to some slow person that is all touchy about pros. To say nothing of the fact that almost every lady on here knows how many emails we all get asking for pro sessions when their profiles say they are in it for 24/7.

Nope, you missed the point. He is referring to the ones who are here to drum up business. Their profiles are clear, they aren't looking for a relationship and they are clear on that also.

JustStephen -> RE: Pro/tribute Dommes (11/2/2011 4:31:58 AM)

Agrees with MissImmortalPain totally... And anyway, if your a pro there are easier ways to find clients than using this site.

MissImmortalPain -> RE: Pro/tribute Dommes (11/2/2011 8:04:42 AM)

I would love to agree with you on this one too because the married men are always pretty easy to see(at least from the ones that have msged me) And if you want to start a thread on that lets have at it. I hate to think that some women can't figure it out on their own but if they can't maybe they need some help. But I still stand by what I said about people that write very blatant and clear profiles as to why they are really here.

MissImmortalPain -> RE: Pro/tribute Dommes (11/2/2011 8:09:25 AM)

No I did not miss his point. Read what I said to LL if you want to know why I justify the 23 year old pro domme profiles. They are not lieing in the way you all seem to think they are. They are pointing out that they intend to give nothing to those seeking them. And sorry but those that seek them out don't need protected((IMO)

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Pro/tribute Dommes (11/2/2011 8:43:23 AM)

I'm startled at how many of the younguns are out for trinkets, but some of them are actually successful at it! So, either there is one born every minute, or every ten seconds!

They give a bad impression of what those of us who are looking for human interaction are really about, yes. Are they worse than the endless parade of wankers that write us with unreal fantasies, and are huffy when we say no?

I'm not looking for one but, just for the hell of it, I looked online. I put in "Pro Dommes, Washington State" and I was floored at all the listings that came up! Most in Western WA were in the Seattlle area and with prices from $200 or $250 an hour and up. Wow. It's really not hard to find one! lol

Oh dear Gary.

Calum, your post is about the SKILLIONTH one of its ilk. Yes, that is a real number that I made up just for you.

Personally, I agree, there are far too many money gals per square foot. However, on this FREE SITE, what you get is what you get. Use the HIDE button. There is no limit to the number of profiles you can hide. I have hidden literally hundreds of married men, cuckold wannabes, and general jackwagons that way.

Good luck, and come play on the forums. We bite savagely, but will let you eat your own liver if you're a good sport. [:D]

I invented the "kabillion".  It would appear I've been upstaged.

I guess this isn't going to be answered...

julieko01 -> RE: Pro/tribute Dommes (11/6/2011 11:28:19 PM)

I agree with MissKitty. CM is for people who enjoy BDSM/fetishes, not only for lifestyle. What makes you think PDs dont enjoy BDSM/fetishes? Just because we require tribute? I am also a PD. I dont request tribute unless they want to session. Does that mean I dont like talking to subs who arent going to pay up? NO. I love meeting new people. Yes there are a lot of wannabes PDs on here who want to empty out your bank account but realize the true PDs wont make you do what you dont want to do. You just got to be smart and filter out the bad ones.

stellauk -> RE: Pro/tribute Dommes (11/9/2011 9:06:59 AM)

I don't see the issue. Not everyone is living in El Dorado and I guess if you need money and are prepared to take the opportunities by whatever means then you will. Same goes for the married cheaters, the spam e-mails, the 'Hello Dearie' mails you get from Africa, the homeless bum on the streets asking for spare change, and the 'slight damage' goods you can buy off e-Bay which were probably damaged by falling off the back of a lorry.

Let's face it, anywhere online these days is basically 'as is' and not necessarily what it was intended to be when it was first set up.

There's a factor of unforeseen consequences here.

Besides some of these 'tribute dommes' might actually become pro-dommes in the future. It's not the sort of occupation everyone feels comfortable about discussing at the labour exchange or with a bank manager.

You have to start somewhere I guess.
