Been reading a lot about all the girls in Britain seeking to become owned by Dominant's in the USA lately.

What they do not seem to grasp is the hurdle's to gain permanent entry in the western developed counties have been raised, British medical research cannot even recruit the staff it requires.

Therefore economic migrants (those seeking a better or shall we say, or different life at least in this instance), will struggle to be granted residency especially without recognised professional credentials.

Disappearing on arrival in the USA is less likely to be successful, as Immigration services worldwide will flag people in a much more rigid and organised way to relevant law enforcement agencies.

With the right likely to become increasingly the party of government around the world the likelihood of any extra funding being funnelled into this area of expenditure will increase, when such funding is available, or when cuts are made to more social expenditures.

This has been proven by history, in times of extended austerity the right tends to be in power, the populace (at least some of them become more vocal in opposition), and the government will deploy more resources to impose greater strictures on controlling the populace.

Be aware, be smart, if you think this is the right step for you, make yourself worthwhile keeping by any Dominant in another country, and legal migration and right to residency makes you more attractive to a Dominant.

I have been reading alot lately about Patrick McGoohan as Edward Longshanks and his forays into Scotland. Seems the site is overrun, and the politics of this are clearly and plainly in the open for anyone to see.

He made a hellova Longshanks. (But was a little short for the part, I should think.) Ah, well, he's dead now, to late to reprise it.

uumm....two cm profiles does not equate to a lot or a proliferation of females wanting to immigrate to the U.S.

Wanna give some real stats?

If I had the stats to hand I would, can I trawl every profile on the website no, and no I am not saying their are a lot of them, my point was and is they have given no thought to what is required to gain residency anywhere else in the western developed world.

The barriers to ordinary non-mega rich mortals are going up, and they will keep going up for some time, we just hit 7 Billion people.

When the barriers really go up they may not be lowered again for a generation.

Lack of thought and lack of planning mean you will be stuck where you are, time to wake up and smell the future here.

"Girls" maybe the issue, 18 year olds are notorious for having "dreams" without knowing the reality of many subjects, that is NOT a fault, but a reality... nothing new cos I was feeling the same 30 years ago... reality has a way of changing that fast.
Hopefully sooner, before reality teaches them a life long or a l ife ending lesson.

How do you *know* that these women have not considered the issues concerning emigrating to the US?

Being young does not necessarily make you dumb. At 21 I had to make the decision whether to emigrate to the US to work, or stay at home. I spent a long time researching the situation and weighing up the pros and cons.

You're making assumptions here.

It's not American Dom's they're after. They're just trying to get away from that crap you Brits call "food". I mean, seriously, 'spotted dick' sounds like something that takes a shot of penicillin to get rid of, not something you'd eat.

^^ not necessarily; if they determine that the marriage was purely for immigration purposes. proving that it wasn't can be difficult.

and lots of young people actually do investigrate the intricacies of the migration process. when i was with my ex, it was veeery thoroughly considered. but thankfully, we broke up. =p he's a nice guy but we weren't a great match, and it would've sucked to figure that out AAAAFTER all the migration nonsense...

An assumption purely based on the nick I created when I lived in Aberdeen many years ago no doubt, am I even scottish?

As to what you posted myotherself, I do not assume they have not considered it, but I do tend to doubt it, they may have visited the USA on holiday, passed through customs and immigration, but I doubt they have even looked at the website of the US Embassy in London.

But the thread has descended from what I intended, so it can die like many others before it.
