Last night I wanted to share this story but my first duty was to my kids and a fun Halloween. But over the weekend, a drama played out and in the end has resulted in the first Federal Court Order Recognizing The Free Speech Rights OF OWS Participants. It's huge in terms of implanting the notion in federal case law that this is in fact an act of free speech. And it all started with afriend waking another friend up from almost 1,200 miles away and starting off with "Hey! WTF Man?!?!?![:D]
Anyway, many people who'd been politically dormant down in that neck of the woods decided "hey, this is MY back yard. I'm not going to let this happen" and 5the phones and emails started flying with a vengeance. And I have to say I am nothing less than impressed with the folks in Tennessee are capable of and how quickly they stand up to injustice.

But before there was a lone guy in a John Deere hat on a web cam informing the new comers as he could who in turn were to flex their social muscles and get 'the right people on the task' to right a wrong within their state before it became a reason for shame. Tennesseans it seems have a deep pride in their state and it's people, AND FREE SPEECH... that resulted first in this:

The chronology however, does not lie and the significance of these events is not lost on those who will push for their own decisions in their own federal districts, using precedence elements from this decision.
Now it's not the holy grail of course. But it's an important beginning.
