Does tending to your needs include sex? If you are giving a rent reduction in exchange for sexual pleasures you are asking someone to be a prostitute which is illegal. It is also against TOS to discuss illegal activities in the forum.

This area is pretty damn gray. Is it technically or is it not much more than splitting the bills with a sub or dom ? Of course then an ad for new additions to a live in poly household amount to a cheap place to live if....... if WHAT exactly ?

Really, is that really prostitution ? I see no promise/requirement of sex literally, but it is quite implied to say the least.

Yes, where indeed do you draw tthe line ? And, what if this OP came from certain places in Nevada where prostitution is legal ? In fact, is it illegal there ?

That was NOT my intention at all.  This about finding the right submissive for a long term relationship.  Had I known it would have caused this controversy I never would have posted it!  Please by all means remove/delete this entire thread if this is how it is going to be interpreted!

I got the impression that prostitution is not illegal in Canada.

Your profile is actually quite good. I suggest adding some pictures. There are plenty of ways to make them anonymous if this is a concern.

To answer the question, in Canada prostitution is legal. BUT solisitation is illegal. Advertising free rent or rent reduction if you have sex with me is/would be illegal. The original add is vague enough that my belief is it would not be illegal especially given latter clarifications.
