This morning when I woke up in my head came a question:
What is most important to me?
Health .. Love - I said!
Then I thought, maybe because now I feel bad I wanted love and health?
I wonder what others want for them today?
I wonder if we all want the same thing when we feel bad, or just want that what we don't have in the moment?

Health, because if you have that, you can always keep working on having love. Without health... you may not find someone that wants an unhealthy partner or have a chance/time to find love.

Being pain free would be lovely.

I haven't been pain free since 1995ish and current pain med doesn't work. Doc refuses to prescribe anything else....but will give me the one that doesn't work.

For me it's simple - life itself. Without it there's no me and I have learned that it's something so valuable I should never take it for granted. Health is important for my body and mind, and love important for my soul. Nothing in this world is as precious as that which gives someone new life.

Interestingly BillieAnn I'd have to say that Love is more important.

Consider this: An unloved infant who is not held and cared for emotionally, but is fed will always die. The cause is called "Failure to thrive."

Further there are many studies that show that loneliness and being unloved increases health risks.

The most interesting one is what often happens when one of two lovers dies, leaving the other behind. Often within a few weeks the other dies. This used to be called death by a broken heart. But a Cardiologist searched through EKG (heart rhythm) records of spouses who had recently lost their loved one and he found an unusual but statistically significant abnormality in heart rhythm that frequently lead to cardiac arrest.

Without love, health will be compromised. Perhaps this is a reason why pets are so important in may people's lives.

I can see exactly where you're coming from on that one. I know that for major illnesses, having a lot of love in your life won't exactly get rid of the illness, but I can say that having that support and help from your loved ones can only make things easier to handle. It's a very interesting topic, indeed. :)

I have the love of my family and friends, and that is vital to me. I also have what I consider good health, because I WANT to consider it good. Romance, that's something I have never had in any real way, and I am sure that it's not essential to anything.
