I'm so sorry that I am too far away to have accepted the invitation. It sounds like you all had a wonderful time and I wish I wouldn't have had to miss it. I'm very glad that you all had the chance to have a wonderful holiday together.

They make a cat sled somewhere? Mom found a cotton candy pink cat stroller...and her 20+ year old cat...all white with blue eyes (and toothless)...from Foster and Smith. Beauty especially enjoys flea market weekends at a nearby parking building. Three or four floors of new sights and smells, and the ooohs and aaahs of new people coming forward to pay homage.

If anyone has a link for an enclosed kitty sled... I could get some light pink paint.

And now folks, a bit of bad news. I have to cancel the after Xmas festivities at my house. Below is the cut/paste/post long version of why. My apologies to all who were planning to attend.I shall have to ask all of you for your patience and your understanding.

I have JRA (Juvenile Idiopathic Rheumatoid Arthritis), I am on an immunosuppressant for it, got an ear infection, had to stop the Immunosuppressant, which caused inflammation of the Dura, the lining around your brain. The infection has gotten into the bone, causing osteomyelitis. Currently I look like somebody punched me in the eye on the left side.

Sooo, my docs are had a meeting yesterday. Looks like I'm going to go back on the immunosuppressant for the Inflammation, along with steroids, and starting antibiotics, 4 types, a yeast infection preventative, morphine sulfate, and am being placed in a kind of quarantine here at home. All this for the next 6 weeks, cause well your face bones are right close to your brain. The docs are still undecided about perhaps inserting a pic line to allow the use of IV meds as well.

Moreover, since I have had no shots for 3 weeks due to the infection, and it is raining today, my knees, wrists, fingers, elbows are now nicely red, swollen, and screaming. Oh, yeah, the osteomyelitis has given me an unending migraine. PS, the current lack of shots has also brought on yet another case of periocarditis too.

I had to cancel tour of homes, no crowds. I cannot have my Xmas Eve party. I cannot do the Christmas dinners for the towns poor. I cannot help at our town Christmas party either. I have to call everybody and cancel the after Christmas gathering in my house. No more exposure to possible germs for now.

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention, my passport and my visa came to my lawyers office today? Of course, I cannot get on a plane now either. So now my sassmonkey (ty for that one Hibbie, trade ya for Cattywhumpuss) is trying to do his passport stuff alone.

FUCK ME!!!!!!

All I want for Christmas is a brain transplant. My brain into a different body.

I know it pains you that you cant be the mother hen and take care
of everybody else this Christmas, but please don't worry!
The poor will be fed, the eggnog will still be consumed, and it may even snow!
But none of that will matter if you arent healthy, so take good care of you please!
