YoungAsianCutie -> Restricting Ejaculate (5/27/2006 6:03:39 PM)

Hi, I'm sure there was probably a thread on this before but...

When I was young, in order to give myself sexual relief and not make a mess, I would masturbate and hold the base of my dick really tightly so that cum doesn't cum out. If held tight enough it would work, and you would for the most part feel the sexual tension go away (but of course it doesn't feel as good as actually releasing). I've since stopped doing it because I was afraid this would be unhealthy behavior and I may end up damaging my sexual organs.

Finally, I'm glad I've found a good site where I can finally ask the question of whether or not it is true that orgasming in this way can be harmful.

Thanks.

I have no idea about that technique but there are ways of withholding orgasm and delaying it as well.  Squeezing the head of the cock or pulling gently on the balls to pull them away from the body as orgasm nears works to delay orgasm.

There is a tantric technique using the male equivalent of the kegel muscles to prevent ejaculation.  Doing so produces a somewhat reduced sensation but due to the prevention of ejaculation, the arousal and more importantly the erection is maintained.

The Multi Orgasmic Man is the most common and accessible book that covers this technique.

It sounds like what you're talking about is "injaculation" (also called "retrograde ejaculation" or "coitus saxonicus")  The semen is going back into your bladder.  I think you'd have to ask a doctor whether it's unhealthy, because I've heard conflicting opinions.

What are the kegel muscles?

Thanks for the help, I was just about to repost this in another section.

Good thing you didn't.  That would be against the rules.

Young,

It is against the rules to make multiple posts, but reposting something after not getting replies is another matter and you would have been correct at least morally so go for it.

The kegel muscles are exercised in men a couple of ways.  The easiest way to start is by starting and stopping peeing, something you already know how to do.  That is the same muscle contraction you do when you want to prevent ejaculation.

I have heard of heard of something close to this. As for it being healthy I am not sure either. Surely ask your Dr. to be sure.

Its been said by holding the basis of the cock it would ease the sexual feeling. If kept up and done a few times a male then can last longer during sex. [my ex husband use to do that fyi]
