there is SO much of the books missing even in the swedish movie, that it was kinda boring to watch the movie after reading the books.
The trilogy was shown on TV over here, that´s why i watched it, wouldn´t have gone to the cinema for that.
noomi rapace is a remarkable actress, i loved her play, she did pretty graphic scenes in the movies, but the rest was kind of... well.
and it was no BD/SM there, the sex scenes between her and the girl or her and the journalist were plain vanilla.
the forced oral, the rape scene and the scene where she tattooed the layer and shoved a buttplug up his arse were no BD/SM, they were rape.
did not watch the american version yet, but from my experience with the US remakes of good movies i wait until that is on tv. when i am bored i will watch it then.
