Would you choose a job in an industry you were passionate about even if it meant taking a substantial pay decrease?

I've been a full time unsalaried volunteer, so yes. (Room and board and less tangible benefits were included. I worked part time to pay my negligible bills.)

I've just relocated to be closer to my family so at this time I wouldn't relocate.

Yes. Unless there was an exceptional reason not to, such as not being able to pay the bills.

Would you choose a job in an industry you no longer cared as much about because of a substantial financial reward?

No. But see above exception.

Would you choose a job in an industry you no longer cared as much about because of the amount of power you could weild?

No. As much as I love power play/power exchanges, I am not in to being powerful or "Top Dog." It is more simply a part of whom I am and how my personality comes out.

Would you turn down a job in an industry you were passionate about because you could not weild[sic] the power you have previously enjoyed in your career?

See above answer.

How much do you think your discovered/chosen core personality (whether d or s) would influence your decision on which job to take? What would be the prime motivation? Money, Power or Passion?

Very little to the first part, and none of the above to the second. My choice would be more based on the practicality of the situation. My primary motivation would be my needs and the situation at the time, although passion (how much I enjoy the job) comes second.

How much does who you are spill over into what you do for a living (if anything at all) in making these sorts of choices?

In making these kind of decisions--Very little, if any. In other contexts.. You'd have to ask the right question in the right context. :-P
